There seem to be a suspicious number of videos and photos shared on various social media that show awfully neat stitching. Like these couple. I suspect these are not authentic.

A metal slotted track, with circular sections drilled out every 1 inch. Called Seat Track, and used for mounting seats in Boeing made aircraft. Also, useful in space

Frustrating example 1: It looks like a Phillips (cruciform) head, but it is not. You'll see these all over aircraft attaching skin panels and brackets and the like. Apparently they work great for that. But They are also prone to strip if you have to remove them.

Holy crap...the flight crew that were able to save 29 out of 67 after flying across the Caspian sea with an almost uncontrollable aircraft are GD heroes. RIP crew, you did your job.

Such a weird job. Worked with a bunch of awesome, smart, weird, pain-in-the-ass motherfuckers. It was six years that profoundly shaped my life in so many ways, and despite ending almost 20 years ago I still have dreams about it. If you have to go to war, taking beds and kitchen with you is wise
