Well, that's enough covers. Back to writing stories for this trio.
A comic book cover featuring three feminine mutants. The title is 'Grafted' and evokes the idea of superpowers and body horror.

There we go, now I have a cover for each of the leads.
An otherworldly mutant or alien with feminine features and deer-like antlers looks off into a dark forest sensually.

I saw a pose for Marvel's 'Black Cat' and decided to try it out with my Heretic character.
A feminine mutant or perhaps alien woman slinks along the floor in the darkness. With large glowing eyes, she stalks something off screen.

I'm still working through this logo. Some potential cover art to go with it.
A young woman with dark skin is overtaken by a symbiotic entity. We see the last moment in her eyes as she becomes one with the organism and both share the same identity while merged.

Depravity has clearly gotten into trouble.
Mysterious feminine figure with monstrous qualities included antlers from her forehead stands among rubble in a city. One point perspective was used for the buildings in the background.

Four hours.
A comic book illustration of a brooding feminine superhero overlooking a business and warehouse zone of a city at night. The traffic is bumper to bumper on the streets below as wind blows through the superhero's hair.

I figure it's time for a new banner:
An in-progress illustration of a three-point perspective segment of office buildings and warehouses. There is a posed 3D model in the scene that will be used as reference to add a character overlooking the city as a brooding superhero.

I'm taking a break from comic stuff this week. I asked a friend what kind of fan art I should do in its stead. I was requested Mothra, best known for her appearances in Godzilla (Gojira). I don't often draw MASSIVE subjects. Yet, I think this came together well. 😊

Okay, time for not-Asmongold to meet Aberration.
A five-panel comic book page. Panel one, a young red-headed woman rides a bus while watching something on her phone. In panel two, we see over her shoulder that she's watching a disheveled podcaster on her phone. In panel three, we see a tight closeup of the woman as she expresses disappointment. In panel four, we see an insert of the podcaster grabbing an oversized beverage with a straw in the top. In the fifth and final panel, the disheveled podcaster continues saying something outrageous and disgusting. Two comic book pages. Page two is on the left with five panels. The third page is on the right with five panels. Page two is dedicated to a disheveled podcaster as he pontificates about someone's identity while making crass accusations about their sex and gender. Page three is dedicated to the woman who was watching absolving to take action of some kind against the podcaster by first transforming into her monstrous alter-ego.Two comic book pages side by side. The fourth page is on the left and has three panels. The fifth page is on the right and has five panels. The third page is dedicated to monstrous yet feminine her who is a blend of a human host with an alien skin-suit. Together, they call themselves Aberration. The fifth page is dedicated to Aberration stalking the crass-talking podcaster before glueing him to a wall with otherworldly resin. Aberration then takes over his podcast for a night.

There's something fun about a partially completed page:
A five-panel comic book page that has been partially colored. There are currently no backgrounds and there are characters that are still black and white. In panel one, a partially colored disheveled looking character doesn't notice a feminine but alien leg descending into the scene in the foreground. In panel two, the disheveled character quickly looks behind him, but the feminine alien character had already moved out of his field of view. In panel three, the disheveled man finally sees the alien woman and lets out a terrified shout. In panel four, the man has been captured and appears to be glued to a wall with an otherworldly resin. He is upside down. In the fifth panel, the woman is cleaning up the man's desk while sarcastically taking over his podcast for a night.

Alrighty, two more pages to color in. Then it's all lettering.
Six panel comic book page without any lettering added yet. Panel 1, a redheaded woman rides a public bus as she watches something on her phone. In the 2nd panel, we see over her shoulder that she's watching someone. In panel three, a tight close-up of the woman as she expresses either disgust or disappointment. In the fifth panel, we see someone grabbing an oversized beverage. In the sixth panel, we see the person that grabbed the beverage is hosting a podcast as he speaks into a microphone attached to a mechanical articulated arm. Making more progress on this comic project of mine.
A black and white comic book page of five panels. In the first panel, a young woman rides a public bus while looking at her phone with a touch of anger on her face. In the second panel, we see over her shoulder what she's looking at on her phone. The illustration is incomplete, the phone is currently blank. In the third panel, we see a tight close-up of the woman's face as she grows more angry. In the fourth panel, we see an insert of the podcaster she's watching grab an oversized beverage container with a straw in it. In the fifth panel, a young woman watches the video podcast on her phone with dissapointment. An in-progress comic book page that is black and white with five panels. In the first panel, a podcaster acts shamelessly. In the second panel, the young woman watching on her phone has a moment of groaned disgust as she rests her face in her hand. In the third panel, the woman has finished watching the podcast and has stepped off her bus as a amorphous alien organism emerges from her backpack. In the fourth panel, the amorphous organism slithers under her clothes and begins fusing with her body. In the fifth and final panel, the organism has nearly fully enveloped the woman as all that's visible is her eyes and nose as a set of sharp alien jaws swallows her face as the pair merge to create a new fused organism.

I've been asked by a few of my former followers from Deviant Art why I'm making my OC trio so political. A couple of things: 1. Grafted was always political. You weren't paying attention. 2. How the fuck am I supposed to ignore this?

The fourth of five pages has been sketched out. I do still intend to start inking them all tomorrow. Here's to monstrous ladies.
A rough sketch of a three-panel comic book page. The first panel features a feminine looking monster with a long tongue and tendrils for hair. She seems to be hissing as she runs her hands through her tendrils. In the second pane, the monstrous feminine creature is now stalking with a smirk on her face. In the third panel, she grows a wing-like membrane from her arms and takes to the night sky.

Alrighty, I have the third of five pages sketched out for this little project of mine. I'll likely start inking on Friday.
A rough sketch of a five-panel comic book page. Panel one features what appears to be a man running a podcast with a large microphone attached to an articulated arm. He's disheveled in appearance and dismissive in attitude. Panel two features a woman watching the streaming show on her phone. She appears disappointed and disgusted as she rests her hand on her face. In the third panel, the woman who was watching appears defiant as a symbiotic entity emerges from her backpack. The fourth panel features the symbiotic entity slithering under her clothes and bonding to her body. In the fifth panel, the transformation is nearly complete as her face becomes enveloped by monstrous fangs.

The second of five pages has been laid out and sketched. Three more to go before I start the coloring process. The topic will be that of podcasters that promote hate.
A rough sketch of a five-panel comic book page. In the first panel, a disheveled man with a headset on his head while he speaks into a microphone attached to an articulated mechanical arm. In the second panel, his expression changes to that of a sneer. In the third panel, while drinking from his oversized drink he appears to pontificate into the microphone. In panel four, his expression returns to a dismissive sneer. In the fifth and last panel, a woman watches the podcast from this man on her phone with an expression of concern.

I went ahead and started a new project.
A rough sketch of a five-panel comic book page. In panel one, a young woman in a hoodie watches her phone while riding on a public bus. In panel two, we see what she's looking at on her phone from over her shoulder. The artwork is incomplete and the screen is blank. In panel three, we see a tight close-up as the young woman scrunches her face with a mix of anger and disgust as she continues to watch. Panel five, we see the person she's watching has grabbed an oversized cup for a soft drink. In panel six, we see that the man she's watching is some kind of streamer with a large microphone close to his face while he wears a headset and worn-out t-shirt.

Completed: a group shot of my trio of superheroes who call themselves Grafted.
An illustration of three super-powered heroines with a monstrous set of appearances and abilities. One sports a crest-like mask with a set of large eyes to the left. A second heroine is crouched; she has wings, a tail, and an eyeless face. The third and final to the right is dark in color with what appears to be a set of deer-like horns usually associated with a buck and a bright pink mohawk between them.
