That's just it - I don't know what it might be missing, since this is all pretty new to me. I didn't want to risk going into a lightweight distro and then finding out that it can't do something I need. I didn't do a test run - I jumped in with both feet and a complete drive wipe from scratch. 😭

I'm really liking Kubuntu so far. KDE Plasma + Ubuntu seems to be a sweet spot for me. (I admit I did a lot of reading before settling on it)

I honestly couldn't tell you about any male managers I've had, Black or white. I've had them, but they were largely disinterested in the team unless they could blame us for something. Though I did have one white boss try to get me PIP'ed for having a beard... while working a phone job. 🙄

Basically my experience as well. Best manager I ever had was a Black woman. She would go to the mat to protect her team. Worst manager I ever had was a white woman who thought her team were her rivals like it was Game of Thrones. Lady, it's a plumbing service.

I don't have kids. I don't want kids. Wife and I agreed on that early on and we've stuck by it. But our nibling lives with us half the week and hell come walking if someone wrongs that (now teenage) baby. Doesn't mean we don't make em do their own laundry tho. 😭

I stay away from voice chat in most games. But I do remember seeing a guy with a 'covert' (ie: used alternate characters to avoid autobanning) racial slur in his name in Destiny 2 PVP. He got focus-fired by our team. Like people going out of their way just to ruin that particular guy's day.

TL;DR: I'm increasingly convinced the video is NOT of Sirga and Val. However, I'm also not convinced it's AI and not real, since real videos of similar encounters DO exist - the AI variants almost always have the lions doing stuff like roaring at passengers or taking their heads in their mouths. 🤷‍♂️

I specifically bought an oversized hoodie suited to my wife's aesthetic tastes and wore it around for a while so it got my flavor on it and then gave it to her and she loves it. I just have to refresh it every so often so it keeps my smell. 😂 But I was up-front with her about what I was doing.

Nah, I completely sympathize. I've had AI stuff slip past me and it sucks. 😠 And yeah, I saw the exact same thing with the groin shot the first time I watched it, but on subsequent viewings I realized he was sitting sideways. I'll take a look around and see if I can find the original.
