To be honest, I *do* believe that Biden was personally quite upset at Netanyahu for the genocide in Gaza. Knowing him, I'm willing to believe that. That does not, however, make it better for him. That makes it worse. He knew it was wrong, hated it, and yet did nothing to stop it.

it's great how sometimes my phone doesnt turn off all the way and i find that, in my pocket, it had begun typing out a message to someone lol. I have never had it end up sending one (yet), but im sure ill happen someday 😔

I should have just ignored it, probably. If someone I know and care about says something that is so vile to me that i see red, I should probably just not engage — especially if it becomes clear that person isn't going to change or understand my concern about what they said.

I'm genetically a quarter Japanese and three quarters Western European, but I have very little personal connection to Japan and I think I just look white. I never really know how to factor in the "I'm white but also a quarter Japanese" into my identity.
