I learned about the 2012 Westernization of Korean toy line/cartoon Yoohoo & friends, and I am so perplexed by the changes made. They got David Feiss of Cow & Chicken to run it, who pitched it with a comedic redo of the premise, and got Flavor Flav to be the new character Father Time.

One of my favorite tangents told to me by my roommate is about Saban losing a deal with Gene Simmons. I think about it every so often.

At one point in the 90s, Gene was planning to have Saban Entertainment create a KISS cartoon. This fell through when, during a meeting, Haim Saban remarked in Hebrew that he would "gut him like a fish." Little did he know that Gene spoke Hebrew natively—he shot back with a flawless "You asshole, I am one of you!" before storming out.
