what is even being reported here. surely the default assumption is that a shakespeare adaptation will use shakespeare's own dialogue

As befitting a filmmaker who is known for his meticulous attention to detail in capturing a time period, even when it comes to dialogue, sources say that this adaptation will feature actors speaking in Olde English.

A tragic romance, Shakespeare’s play told the ill-fated story of the titular young lovers who hail from two warring families, the Capulets and the Montagues, in the city of Verona, Italy.

eye of the beholder, right? plenty of famous "audience missed the point" great films but also tons of stuff where i think the artists just failed to properly communicate what they were trying to say. intentions aren't worth shit.

you ever think about how 20 years ago Suicide Girls were pitched as really edgy alternative pin up girls, and now they just look like random women you'd see walking down the street.
