i stand by that yellow paint is a failure of art and light direction. (and that fartgas in a linear game is absurd) but yeah gamers really will just try to complain about anything and ruin things for emselves sadly.

the cycle doesnt exist; what youre experiencing is nostalgia and people aging. the ppl that hated scarvio never stopped, its fans (kids) will simply get more vocal (as adults)

its funny that despite matt smith being my doctor, i think id much rather meet @/oldsixie.bsky.social instead. nothing against matt, but colin seems like a lovely lovely guy

This ones hard. like conceptually i liked most of this boxset but its not because it delivered on the premise really. the last story is a trip though.

while i still find miles impression to be "just okay really" his performance and jasmine's are excellent in this set, loved the first two stories, while the third felt a bit hammy but seems to set things up i look forward to hearing later!

This one feels very...moffat edited by RTD in a good way. the concept is very funny, very scary, and an interesting lil romp, but in the end is typical doctor who archetypal shenanigans

A lukewarm badly done ending with wonderful ideas that...unfortunately dont really...line up with the rest of the miniseries. Genuinely confused me and several people i talked to, i think maybe a 4th draft was needed but the IDEAS are still good on paper.

Part 2; you ever wonder if The Doctor believes in correctional rehab? i dont think i did but it definitely makes sense for his character. whether ash agrees or not is the lynchpin of this story. keeps ya guessing even if ultimately the twist is predictable. Just makes you ask. Can People Change?

The next 3 episodes sorta feel like they are a literal 3parter, Following up on the ending of the previous, We get to see old foes and genuinely point out how different 12 is from 9. even though theyre both grumps. i wont elaborate how but lets say this duo gets ever more interesting.

This ones tricky, i wanna say i love the visceral horror of it, but in its efforts to give credit to how social media gives a voice to the voiceless while still attacking the fomo vanity of it, it defaults to saying "capitalists evil lol" and never really took a side. maybe thats good idk 5/7

A disapointing return overall. seemingly a thruline about grief yet Ray has been gone for years in these sets yet talks about the events of delta n the bannerman like it was 3 weeks ago. odd choices

fascinating. having grown up on video/flash based internet; for me the internet became less fun when we pivoted to "social media" and suddenly everything became about making money unignorably so

because posers (to use the old term) are people that want the clout without being a fan at all. casual or otherwise logan paul is at the top of the list

Ive noticed lately that a lot of modern games writing tries to promote Urgency that the gameplay loop simply cannot support. nothings funnier than a bethesda game implying you need to meet someome somewhere or find a lost person. and they wait ingame years for you to actually engage
