I apologize for going quiet. Life has been very busy. I just got done with a 6 week travel extravaganza in which I played in multiple Live Reality Games, Went to Montreal to play some of the best Escape Rooms in the world. Went to Austin for work and Went to NYC for a weird pineapple experience.

This week I finished Lennox Mutual, an immersive experience that took me 14 months and 30+ phone calls. It ran the gamut of making me laugh to breaking my heart, but most importantly it never stopped surprising me. Anyone can do it (and you should). All you need is your phone.

I am so glad for my derby training. I took a nasty fall this weekend at Adventure Camp. Ending up falling backwards off a rolling 4x4 carrying another one. Slammed directly into my chest. Thankfully I landed clean and only got the wind knocked out of me.

Finally got back in the tunnel after 5+ months of recovery! It's so exciting to get back, even if it was just basic belly work. Just felt good to fly again. Can't wait to do more in the tunnel and to get back in the air again.

I know I've talked about how much I love Lennox Mutual. I have just had my mind blown about how amazing an immersive phone show can be. I've invested 9 months into this show & it has changed my life. Learning to be a virtual ATC is one of the most humbling experiences I've had in my life. It is a masterclass in making quick, accurate and efficient decisions. It's fun as hell to learn but it's incredibly hard.

Finally at a point where I can start exercising w/ my shoulder again. Being cleared to start jogging lightly & doing banded rows with my shoulder has felt so good. As much as I can hate exercising especially cardio I can't deny that it improves my mood. Chomping at the bit to get back on the track.

First set of rehab exercises on my shoulder done! There's a ways to go yet in recovery, but it feels so good taking that first step. It just feels nice to move it after a couple of weeks.

Off to get my rotator cuff repaired. Going to be pretty much off the track and out of the sky for 6 months. Already counting the days until I can get back. I just wish I had injured it doing something cool. Faceplanting because your toe stop was loose and caught the ground is the exact opposite.

Sometimes I can't help but laugh at the life I lead. My trainer asked me what I was doing this weekend I replied "Oh, just taking a course on fire eating, as one does." The weekend after I'm going to go experience Alien Encounter, a parody of the Disney ride with copious amounts of fake blood.
