Saw a bunch of artists talking about the costs of attending cons and listing their expenses but a common mistake I saw is that they put the production costs of all their merch there instead of the actual COGS It doesn’t make sense unless you actually sold all the merch

Have tabled at 2 local 1-day cons already and here are some of my observations: 1. If someone comes and saying “OMG SPLATOON?!” very loudly they aren’t Splatoon players but more like someone who has heard of it but never played it and might be proud that they can recognize a “niche” fandom

If you ever wonder why I’m not interested in foil stamping on acrylic it’s because the foils that most manus use for foil stamping acrylic are too boring ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I like textured and patterned foils more than foils in pure color and currently foil stamping is my artistic pursuit

Pure foil stamping on paper without any printing for some testing designs The second one uses blue-tone pearl paper and I somehow managed to make the blue pearl effect which only shows up under the direct light very noticeable on the picture lol #oc
