Although I didn't know him nearly as well as Kali, we were getting there. Galonodel was hanging out at our house a good deal - hell I gave him one of my catsuits for no other reason than he wanted some latex. He was a super nice guy.

None of that really matters now though. Maybe except for what limited positive impact he had on the people he did actively try to help. Of course, that doesn't change the outcome of we have three people who died. I'm sure some people forgave him for that. I can't say that I'm on that list.

That being said, there were in fact two sides to Zido as much as many people don't want to admit it. He hurt a lot of people. He helped some people. I like to think that for every person he helped out of a bad situation that there was some kind of genuine attempt to be better than he was.

As far as defending Zido, never defended him over the accident. There wasn't anything to defend there. BTS it was very clear what had happened. The most I did was was privately soften things, which I shouldn't have done. Publicly, lawyers are a thing and got itchy over any kind of mention of it.

They say don't speak ill of the dead, but the more I look back the more I question if who I am today would have tolerated his antics before the accident. Too much garbage to list here, so I won't. Just more shit to work through at the end of the day.

At some point I just kinda gave up on a lot of things. That was also a mistake. I look back at Zido and I's relationship and I struggle to find balance between the good bits and the bad bits in it.

The years following were rough for everyone involved. Especially friends and family of the victims. Some made it through in better shape than others - I kinda just struggled with grieving over it, and tried to keep things to myself per family and lawyer requests.

The video in question alleges that it was one of Zido's firearms. Since he had pled guilty, he was a felon at that point. We removed all firearms from the house, even going so far as to dismantle some of them and scatter the pieces among friends. Won't get into the details, but it was someone else's

I felt like I failed everyone for the simple reason of I didn't make sure he made it to his sentencing which was scheduled for February 23, 2018.

I remember seeing his sister. I think we hugged. I vaguely recall talking to a chaplain and trying to understand what he was saying. I remember spending the night at his parents house.

I packed my things, got an uber, and called 911. When I got there, the SWAT team was already surrounding the apartment. A deputy was trying to keep me calm. And suddenly everyone stood down and I knew what had happened. My memory is a bit hazy from here for that day.

From what I was told, that justice was likely to come in the form of a 4-6 year prison sentence. Of course this was just per sentencing guidelines, his sentencing hearing could have been anywhere between 2 to 20 years.

I like to think that on February 21, 2018 he somehow thought that what he was about to do was accountability. But I struggle to believe this. There was no note. Just a panicked phone call from a close friend while I was at work telling me that he had a gun. Either way, we were all robbed of justice.

The most consistent thing about all of these is he always tried to skirt accountability. From his Minecraft hacking adventures, to the whole F-List thing, to Pokemon World Online, and so on. When he pled guilty, all of us hoped that he would go through with taking accountability for his actions.

November 16, 2017 - his originally scheduled trial. Pled guilty. Zido over the years had gained a reputation of an internet boogieman - one that he always tried to reform from, and one he always gave more ammo to others around due to his temper and tendency to "get back" at people who criticized him

I faced the consequences of my actions during and after this incident. The public got their justice in the form of a two year license suspension with two years of probation and a couple of weeks in jail. I faced that accepting what I did was wrong. Zido.. well.

I guess me and the people around him will never truly know how he was handling it internally. We could tell he was shaken. It came and went. But more often than not, he just carried on like there was always tomorrow and that he'd somehow get through this.

Well, simply put, kept trying to deflect the situation. I'm not going to go into all of the details, but one thing came up in the video I mentioned earlier reminded me of the time where he outright tried to blame one of the passengers for egging him on. Needless to say, I wasn't happy with him.

I think that's one of the things that broke me back then. One of the things that sent me down a dark spiral in 2017 that I'm still recovering from. The fact that two people, one of which was always over at least once a week, the other of which was becoming a common visitor, were dead and he just...

I've written docs on this that haven't made it out of a small group of friends struggling to word my experience of Zido. I think it's probably best to just lay it out. Where there were people grieving and hurting over the loss of two amazing people, he just kinda played it off.

After the accident, many people were devastated. I had many sleepless nights processing everything, feel into a deep depression, and made some really terrible (drunken) decisions that could have hurt people. I'm always trying to be better than I was, and this was perhaps my worst experience.

Getting DMs from strangers ranging from "did you know" to outright harassment on everyone's favorite hell site over an under researched video where I think my comment trying to clarify things actually got hidden. There wasn't any outreach from the person to clarify things, just "here's a video"

This of course meant he committed manslaughter, doing a thing that many people in his life including myself told him not to. Why talk about this now? Well, the lawyers have been paid, cases settled, and 10 years later somehow people are still trying to dredge details up.

On January 22, 2017 Zidonuke was driving a car that had two amazing people as passengers that were lost that night. Kali and Galonodel. Far as I can tell, he was showing off and trying to escape consequences. Sped past a cop, attempted to run, and wrapped it around a tree. The passengers died.

So once I was married. I was married to a person named Zidonuke. Zido died on February 21, 2018. His death certificate says "self inflicted rifle wound". In otherwords: suicide. How did we get here?

This is getting tiresome hearing about some new video from some perspective that only read the cliff notes version and tried to fill in the gaps in whatever way they can, and then me getting on the receiving end of it.
