Now it's time for #FlockXR Light Saber V2. I've refined the movements and added stars to collect. Really enjoying working with the mixed realities of augmented reality and movement controls with the #micro:bit for a full spatial computing experience! Can't wait to try this out in schools!

Here's a little spatial computing project I've been working on in Construct 3 over the summer. . . 🎮 It's a piece of software which enables you to turn things from the real world into a playable platform level. Children can draw or build a level or even play through the live video feed in AR mode!

🕹️ I've been continuing with my arcade theme, playing with #FlockXR some more! This time, Pacman! My aim is to give it a twist by randomising some of the wall positions! It will definitely be fun to try out some of these arcade game recreations in schools!

I'm not sure if there would be time to add Construct into a GCSE class. It's something I would run as a game making workshop for that age group. Could even do it specifically for the non-GCSE students to cover their compulsory computing input for KS4?

Yes, we watched the @extremerobots.bsky.social channel on YouTube first to see what happens. It's actually an activity I've done with my own children at home as well as offering it as a school workshop. We were lucky enough to have them visit our town last year so got to see them live!
