If the BBC are smart they'll make Michael Sheen the next Doctor and let him run around with the spare David Tennant Doctor as much as possible. On a completely unrelated note, why is fanservice a bad thing? 🤔 #DoctorWho #GoodOmens #RewatchThoughts #INeedThisToHappen #okbye

I was Holly's age in 1987 and this is my copy of A Wrinkle in Time now. There is fun AND horror in seeing yourself in what is probably referred to as a Period Piece 🥹🥺🥰😬👵😅 I wasn't into D&D back then (too young/not enough friends) but I LOVED this book #CoreMemory #Camazotz #StrangerThings #okbye

*peeks through pulsing gate* Oh hey! I've been in the Upsidedown for the past week 😅 Just surfacing to note how much I love that the episode lengths keep stretching like Hop's waistline S1-3 😂 Makes the wait for Christmas' & NYE's movie-length episodes more tolerable. #GIMME #StrangerThings #okbye

Initial thoughts on Peacemaker: when DC stops taking itself so seriously, it gets 1000% better. I love dark stuff as much as the next horror nerd, but thank goodness they handed the reigns over to James Gunn, because Zack Snyder curved a little too emo to enjoy. #DCU #MyTwoCents #RIPPennies #okbye

In true ADHD fashion I got behind and abandoned the Halloween movie thing 😅🤷‍♀️ But I'm going to stop avoiding Bluesky in shame because Stranger Things is next week and I'm going to have THOUGHTS. Also because I just started watching Peacemaker and again, THOUGHTS. #TooMuchNerdJoy #okbye

Got a bit behind on #31DaysOfHorror due to real life shenanigans that involved an apple orchard 🍎 a pumpkin patch 🎃 introducing my 9yo niece to Nightmare Before Christmas 💀🎅 and trying not to buy the entire decor section of Spirit Halloween 👻💸 I'll double up this week to catch up. #StayTuned #okbye

Oct 15 - Coherence. Took this one from the list. Pretty good, a few solid creepy moments. The acting felt very improv. The characters seemed like the usual SoCal stereotypes, the ones most of us only know from meta films and shows 😅 #31DaysOfHorror ⚛️🤔😵 #okbye

Oct 14 - 30 Days of Night. I picked this for the vamp category because I'm mildly obsessed with polar night because I have reverse SAD & I remember really enjoying this when I saw it in the theater *takes a deep breath* Good excuse to finally watch it again 🤝🎃 #31DaysOfHorror #ArcticHorror 🥶🧛‍♂️ #okbye

Cute! Not too triggering. Best was the Martins Short and Landeau voicing some great characters. The black and white aesthetic is fun. Prob my 9yo niece would love it.

Oct 13 - Frankenweenie. Picked this for Animated since it's one of the few Tim Burton movies I haven't seen yet. Hoping it doesn't trigger pet death anxiety (I have a lot of triggers y'all 😅). I'm sure it will be lovely and poignant even if it does, TB is very good at that. ❤️‍🩹🐶 #31DaysOfHorror #okbye

Might have to watch Shadow of the Vampire next. Such a fun and weird flick filled with brilliant actors. I'd recommend it but I'm not sure it's streaming. I have the DVD because I'm old and saw it as a cinema sneak preview Back In The Day. 🎥💿👵

Oct 12 - Nosferatu (1922). I love this movie. Thank goodness for film studies introducing me to the awesomesauce that is German Expressionism. Cabinet of Doctor Caligari is another favorite. Watch that one if you're curious where Tim Burton got his aesthetic. #31DaysOfHorror 🤫🧛‍♂️ #FilmNerd #okbye

Ngl, I lol'd as I scrolled. Well played, D+ 😅 I don't care if it's corporate pandering, just gimme that sweet Halloween dopamine 🎃👻😍

A Disney+ menu shows categories in ranked order of A Little Fear, A Little More Fear, A Lot of Fear, & Completely Terrified.

Not a bad flick overall. Perhaps KStew should avoid anything where she narrates since it gave me eye-twitchy Twilight flashbacks #noooooooo But the deep sea stuff was super unnerving and the creatures were VERY creepy. 👍

Ahhhh, just as good as I remember it, cheese and all. Jonathan Pryce is just... ugh, so iconic. Sinister Disney should be a genre all its own with it's heyday clearly being the 80's. So glad this movie is back in my life 🥹❤️👹

Oct 9 - Something Wicked This Way Comes. The Giallo category doesn't interest me so I'm substituting this because it recently appeared on Disney+ and I screamed. I loved this movie as a kid and haven't seen it in probably 30 years. SO EXCITED. #31DaysOfHorror #NostalgiaHorror 🤓🥰👻 #okbye

Also one of the stories is about torturing young kids and it's far more unpleasant than scary. Teenagers are one thing (esp when played by 30yo actors 😂) but actual elementary-age kids are another. #AuntieBear #NotTheBabiesPls #OrTheAnimals #okbye

Oct 8 - V/H/S Halloween. Stumbled on this one looking for a found footage movie and while I think most of the VHS movies are great, this one was a little disappointing. Mostly just torture p*rn & the wrapping story was just goofy. Oh well, worth a try. #31DaysOfHorror 📼🩸 #TheyCantAllBeWinners #okbye

THE Suicide Squad (2021) is just... well, a waste of some great actors (Flula! Fillion! Rooker!) and also a lot of silly fun. With really no connection to the main arc that Snyder introduced in the E X T E N D E D Justice League. Excited for Peacemaker tho! #DCEU 🤔🤷‍♀️

Female body horror does always seem to revolve around pregnancy. I've never been preggers myself so I wonder if it would be kinda freaky. Moms always insist it's beautiful and whatever, but idk. Something moving around inside my body that's not me? #eek

Oct 6 - Pulse (US). This is one of my fav US remakes of Asian horror and really underrated. The tech is dated and the science is a bit goofy, but it's so effectively bleak and scary that it works as late stage period piece (did I just make up a genre??). #31DaysOfHorror 📶👻 #Technophobia #okbye

So it's another movie cut into an existing movie instead of just... it's own thing? Also there are no more big combo movies after this, so why didn't they just make this a separate movie?... Phew. Confusing.
