Saw my first ever Osprey take tonight. Hadn't even got the camera set (only 1/2000s) before I heard a scream and saw it descending. Taking the fish, it flew left of me to the trees. Seeing a bigger Bald eagle, did a quick U-turn and flew off. Eagle gave up. Heavy crop and clean in PSP. #Minnesota

I grew some new teeth. I went into my US dentist with some very old and failing amalgam fillings from my UK dentist and came out with new, white teeth. Two crowns and a bridge and it only cost me $4200 after insurance. 😬

#BirdOfTheDay Alt theme #Brown Coincidentally for the alt theme, I shot these yesterday on the way home from work. Minnesota has the highest resident nesting population of Bald Eagles in the lower 48 states. Plenty of this season's juveniles can be seen along the Mississippi River. #Minnesota

My first DSLR was an Olympus e-620. I look back at the IQ, even with less MP, and it still impresses me. I sold it all for a Fuji bridge superzoom and loved that, but then missed lens choices. Hence my switch to Sony about 12 years ago.

I bought mine, used with 10k shutter count, about 6 months ago. It was an upgrade from my a6400, which I still have and use. Image quality with the 200-600G and 61mp is great from when I'm monitoring Peregrine nest sites and zooming in on legs bands. Glad you're enjoying it.
