I’m not much for powerscaling but I would like to ask this of all of you anyways out of curiosity Who is the strongest character you genuinely believe Gecko Moria capable of defeating? (Current or Prime)

Very unfortunate not-so fun fact Gecko Moria is the only main villain of an arc to not be properly featured in the openings of his own arc Only being in a single still that he shares with filler characters 😞 And he’s entirely absent from the other openings that play during thriller bark

Saw a theory video that Page one and Ulti might be Moria’s biological children and I really like this theory because not only would it be adorable if not a bit sad, but it means with the current cover story moria could show up at any time

Today in a life drawing class at the school I pay money to go to we were allowed to draw a character instead of the human model I had to go with the main man

Been really busy lately but I’d like to toss out another Moria theory Could the reason why the government wanted him dead and Blackbeard wanted him alive be because he can read ponoglyphs? BB doesn’t have a reader and the WG obviously wants him gone, plus he’s been to Wano #OnePiece #ThrillerBark

In light of recent events I would like to state that in any eventual gecko force content that may feature Yamato at all, he will be referred to exclusively AS “he” and if that bothers you you are free to unfollow #ThrillerBark #onepiece 🏳️‍⚧️ trans rights 🏳️‍⚧️

Its a shame I couldn’t make a Christmas post I’m delusional enough that I wrote a 30 page one piece Christmas fanfiction but it’s not thriller bark related and also had OC cringe in it so I couldn’t bring myself to post it 😔

Small thought that couldnt really be made into a whole thing I find it interesting that Moria the villain to have the least about his past shown.(Not counting undefeated ones) Even Krieg and Enel got more than one panel I believe Oda DOES plan to do a whole backstory sequence for him, just not yet

Gecko Moria and Perona are both featured as playable characters in One Piece: Burning Blood Many consider them to be some of the worst characters in the game but that’s stupid because my Moria goes crazy and one of my friends hits me with a Perona infinite every goddamn time

A merry Thrillmas from Gecko Force!! (Out of town for the holidays, hence no epic thriller bark posts. But will hopefully come back with a bang)

One time I got really stoned and drew Moria does that count as thriller bark content

Gecko Force @geckoforce.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

Something I’ve come to realize is that doctor hogback is the only villain Oda’s ever made for chopper specifically. Which is weird to me Wapol was more for luffy despite it being chopper’s arc, his henchmen were kinda nothing, he fought mr 4 with Usopp, didn’t have his own Tobi Roppo member, etc

450

Gecko Force @geckoforce.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

Figured today I’d just share some personal opinions. Thriller Bark is indeed my favourite One Piece arc, as you can see. But here’s how I stack it up to everything else in the series, personally. And yes they’re in specific order (except water 7 and ennies which are the same arc to me)

220

Gecko Force @geckoforce.bsky.social · 16/12/2024

I keep seeing news about the live action one piece here and there and the important part I’m thinking about is that I predict season 5 will be when we get thriller bark. 4-5 episodes I’d say. (I say this because 6 seasons have been greenlit, and I think we’ll get marineford for the finale)

210

Gecko Force @geckoforce.bsky.social · 16/12/2024

One Piece pirate warriors 3 is the only pirate warriors game to feature playable Gecko Moria, as well as feature the thriller bark arc Though Moria is a boss and thriller bark is a location in warriors 2, that game follows an original story rather than recap like the others

Gecko Force @geckoforce.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

While this account was made with a degree of irony, my love for Moria and Thriller bark is very much real My favourite arc and favourite character even if some of the content I have planned coming up is going to be very shitposty lmao

For the record, if anyone notices the pattern in which English terms I like to use for certain things in One Piece It is because here at Gecko Force, we’re enjoyers of the dubbed anime (manga and sub watchers are certainly welcome here too though)

Perona’s Hollow-Hollow fruit (Horo-Horo no mi) is a paramecia type devil fruit the transforms the user into a “Ghost Human” This fruit is one of the most versatile fruits in the series with a wide variety of abilities that can affect both perona’s body, and act as a projectile! #ThrillerBark
