A lot of Intellivision box art had this sort of montage thing going on, or comics-like playing with time in a single image (as in the Checkers box).

I didn't know anything had happened until the nurse took off the big bandage a few minutes ago. My inner surgery site is looking fine.

Nothing Bill Griffith loves more than giant branded Americana. I remember the first time I flew into San Francisco for my comics MFA and the airport had an exposition of American commercial mascots. Half of them I knew only from Zippy the Pinhead strips.

Upon further thought, I've come up with two additions to the saying that Japanese mecha are like fighter jets with legs and American mecha are like tanks with legs. #Nerdlings #mecha
