Been working on a game mechanism in one of my designs and trying to find an alternative that feels better. My current one solves an issue keeping unwinnable scenarios from occurring and at this point I will probably just keep it as all alternatives don't work or make the math even more complicated.

First day of my first Mojo Pitch event is over! I'm still super inexperienced with the mass market side of the industry, but I'm curious to see where this goes, if anywhere. Pitched 16 different designs to 7 publishers so far. Got 42 rejections and 11 requests for prototypes or more info.

Ran two simultaneous playtests of my two player game Pentacle at yesterday’s design meetup. Not sure I would recommend everyone try running two at once, but it’s definitely interesting to analyze two different experiences with the game in real-time.

Got to run two simultaneous quick playtests of a new co-op game idea. Think this is the first time I’ve been able to simulate one of my ideas with a deck of regular playing cards. Obviously this is nowhere near what the actual prototype will be, but it’s nice to see the idea works in theory.

Had an amazing playtest of “Ravenous Seas” tonight trying out a couple of quick changes I made since Tantrum Con this past weekend. This is the most destroyed I have ever seen the ship. It was so close to sinking, but the players pulled it off in the end.
