I used to be an open-source developer like you, but then I took a promotion to the knee and now I just whine on the internet. Certified by Reddit to have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to computer chess.

You can even have the same error for two problems that are so far apart I can't...just...
ENOMEM Failed to allocate the necessary structures because memory is tight.

ENOMEM An attempt was made to create a process in a PID namespace whose init process has terminated.

Dealing with Linux is like dealing with a baby, you hear crying and you guess at the actual problem.

Cleaning out the local computer history museum, which is to say, my attic. Some of this stuff is so old, it still came with an actual manual. How the hell was 2004 already 21 years ago?!
A box with boxes of old software and hardware, including Rocksmith and Adobe Audition 1.5, and a big manual for Adobe Audition.

API hallucinations are definitely one of the worst things when dealing with LLM.
LLM claiming from its supposed knowledge from early 2025 that a python-chess 2.x exists.

The Apple Books one seems to be completely broken? Doesn't reflow on the device, no possibility to increase font size. Completely unreadable on an iPhone. At maximum zoom fonts are heavily pixelated. It's as if the pages were scanned instead of digitized?!
Tiny text without option to increase size.

ChatGPT does make one completely avoidable mistake, and one other for which I have a lot of sympathy - language sometimes makes no sense.
ChatGPT incorrectly claims Monte-Carlo and Monte Carlo are mixed in the text, and incorrectly corrects "trukendoos".
