Medical update: Went to Doctor / got the results on my neck MRI. Disc C3 to C6 are all damaged and bulging out pressing on the nerve fibres from my Spine. This is why i have been having head aches and issues with my fingers / hands. I'm glad we are finally getting some answers!

Quick Medical Update: Been to the Doc today about lots of head aches / migranes / neck pain. Need to get a CT scan of my Neck. Have new medication to try. Got blood tests. I'm hopeing maybe i have just been overdoing PGM work. I guess we will see! Thanks for your support everyone

Quick Medical update: My Neck surgery has healed the best it will be. I have returned to soldering stuff. My neck gives me pain, So i have to take brakes in-between soldering sessions. At least i can manage it. Thanks to everyone for there well wishes.

Quick Medical update: My neck continues to heal. Still can't get it wet. Pain has been on and off depending on how active i am during the day. I hope it won't be to long and it will be fully healed and no more pain!

Does anyone know of a 3 TX / 3 RX Ports OR 4 TX and 4 RX ports TTL to RS232 converter chip?? It must run on 3.3V to 5V VCC. Like the Max3232 ?? BUT with 3 or 4 ports , (Not just 2 for TX and 2 for RX)

Quick Medical Update: Its been 3 weeks since my Surgery at Hospital on my Neck / Spine. I still need Strong pain relief. BUT trying to keep them to a minimum. Can't wait till I'm fully recovered. Thanks again to everyone for your support!

Medical Update: Things are slow. Just trying to take it a day at a time. I have found if i hold my head still with my left arm, Then just move my eyes, I can then grab the mouse with my right hand and i can use a computer! I didn't realise how much i moved my neck until now. Thanks for the support!

Medical update. I go into surgery on 12th of this month (next week). To fix all my neck stuff. They will put me to sleep, do everthing and then wake me up. To be honest I find it all quite scary. but not much i can do. I'm not allowed to drive either. I hope for a quick recovery

Hello all! Medical update. Since Christmass break i have had to get help with the ever growing Cyst / Absys on the back of my Neck / Spine. At the moment i have to go daily to the Doc and Nurse to get it seen to. Plus a new dressing as well. As you can tell this has been disruptive to my daily work.

Well the dial up modems for the BBS live again! I still have to re-cap them and restore them... BUT at least they turn on :-) Its a bit tricky to work out what power supply's they need.... but its doable.

Its the end of the week... and I have been super busy as normal! I have been busy getting eproms all processed and written into complete rom sets. They are on their way to building more PGM Cave shooter carts..... It will still take another 4 to 5 weeks to complete ALL these carts.

If you have a hot air setup. you can use that to remove a pin off an old cpu and do it that way.

I'd probability check if this might be a Ground or VCC pin. If not you might be able to take a pin from an old pentium or that age cpu and replace the pin very carefully.
