I had 2 research appts yesterday. First with a woman my age that went from family history talk to the current state of political crisis, during which I said how $10000 would change my life. She told me, a stranger, that if she ever wins the lottery she’ll give me that. The empathy touched my heart.

Franklin and I visited a new monument at the county admin building today that lists several of my Revolutionary War ancestors. He acts like he can read, or maybe he actually can. 🤷‍♀️

Eleven years ago I visited the tomb of Marie Laveau and left her a runestone offering symbolizing spiritual journey and heritage. At the time, I was only dabbling in the practices of Vodou/hoodoo and had no idea how it would make a big impact on my path years later. I’m so thankful. 💜🖤💜 #witchsky

A controversial subject for some, but I clip my long haired dachshund several times a year. Otherwise he picks up every leaf, bug, and speck of dirt on our walks and gets too fluffy for his harness. But the neighbor dogs can tell Franklin’s mom cuts his hair. #dogsky #dogsofbluesky #dachshund

As a library worker I’m boosting this push for library cards! Also, ask your local library about free reciprocal cards with other libraries. Libraries need community support to function. Patron counts are vital. Especially now.

Since I’m gathering new witch friends, I’ll share an interesting experience from today. In the shower, thinking of a ritual for tonight and settled on creating a list of names for a mass binding. I heard a voice say, “No, that’s not enough. Do more. A burial spell.” No binding, straight to buried.😅
