Could someone explain how tariffs return manufacturing to the US? How will making the price of raw materials and finished products make a corporation plunk down the capital to build a plant and secure materials and hire labor? Seems like a stretch

It’s time for the Senate to act on the Social Security Fairness Act. This repeals the Windfall Elimination Program which impacts thousands of public employees. The House passed it with an overwhelming majority. 63 senators have cosponsored it. Call Schumer and tell him to bring it to the floor!
