It’s actually better than an ad because it doesn’t demand anything from you.” “If everything is content now, then brain rot is anti-content. Christoph @gbks.bsky.social · 27/02/2026Lots of things in Arké are not about re-inventing the wheel, but executing well, sometimes with a bit of playfulness. For the recovery phrase, you scratch to reveal it. And there's a handy printable PDF to note it down. 010
Christoph @gbks.bsky.social · 13/02/2026And Sats is short for Satoshis, the sub-unit of bitcoin (what cent are to the dollar). With bitcoin getting so expensive, that sub unit is now much more commonly used. There’s actually a huge discussion on whether to get rid of that altogether because it can be so confusing. Tough habit to change. 010
Christoph @gbks.bsky.social · 13/02/2026Yep, Ark is for super fast, low-fee payments (bitcoin only). And you don’t give up control of your bitcoin like with most other solutions. Very promising, but it’s also super early, so it’s going to be really interesting how it all plays out IRL. 010

Christoph @gbks.bsky.social · 21/03/2025 The Canonical team did a survey and found that most designers don't realize open-source is a thing, many of the ones that do have no idea how to get started, and many who give it a try don't get far due to the steep learning curve. Let's make that a little easier. 010
