[ #gamboart #granbluefantasy ] My piece for the @gbffanzine.bsky.social! Average sleepover with the Citizens of the Kotatsu.

Digital fanart of Lunalu, Melissabelle, Mahira, Sierokarte, Sahlia Lao and Milleore from Granblue Fantasy gathered around a kotatsu wearing casual wear/pajamas.

Lunalu stands on top of the kotatsu, pointing her pen towards the camera with one hand, other hand splayed over her eyepatch. She grins. Light shines off the tip of her pen in a dramatic fashion. Surrounding her are a tea set, loose papers with unfinished sketches on them, drawing supplies and her sketchbook.

Melissabelle lies under the kotatsu, resting her head on a pillow and reading a book. She looks over her shoulder at Lunalu with an amused expression. With her hair, she lifts a full teacup towards herself.

Mahira sleeps under the kotatsu, with a sleep mask styled after a chicken. One of her chickens rests next to her.

Sierokarte sits up, leaning back on her hands and laughing at Lunalu's antics. Her parrot sits beside her on Lunalu's abandoned pillow.

Milleore and Sahli Lao sit together on a large pillow. Sahli Lao leans into Milleore, looking at Lunalu with wonder. Milleore is a little incredulous, lifting her teacup to her mouth.

My piece for @gbffanzine.bsky.social's digital zine out now, featuring Nier, Haase, and Lobelia having a very normal morning #granbluefantasy #gbf #グラブル

A montage image of three evokers from Granblue Fantasy, Nier, Haaselia, and Lobelia, all around a lawn table on the deck of the Grandcypher. Nier and Haaselia are both seated holding cups of tea. Lobelia is standing, smiling at his tarot card of The Tower floating by his side while holding a bubble wand and bottle. A number of bubbles surround the group which depict different scenes: A) Nier and Haaselia dressed in Evoker robes, their hoods up and covered in blood. They stand before a bright-lit doorway where Lyria and Vyrn pass by unaware; B) Death assisting Nier with removing her bloodied clothes; C) Haaselia and Nier washing their blood-soaked clothes in a barrel of soapy water; D) Used bottles of soap and vinegar; E) Lobelia placing robes up to dry as the morning sun comes up.

I've been given permission to share a sneak peek of my piece for the Within These Blue Skies zine! @gbffanzine.bsky.social I don't think it's too much longer until the zine releases, so I hope everyone is looking forward to it!

A preview image for the Within These Blue Skies Granblue Fantasy Fanzine, with the following exerpt from my story "Voices of the Rainbow":

“W-well…” Canate says, seated in that very music room as she watches someone play. “Y-you’ve got the, timing down pat, and you’re doing better, than with the o-other instruments we’ve tried. But, this isn’t really, an actual song…”

Across from her stands Sariel, the fallen angel, with a marching drum attached to him via a series of straps around his waist and shoulders. The primal beast, tightly gripping the drumsticks, stands out as he’s surrounded by all manner of instruments set up in the room with a befuddled expression on his face, like even he isn’t entirely sure what he’s doing here.

A preview of my artwork. Fanart of Melissabelle from Granblue Fantasy. She rests under a kotatsu, lying down with a book and a pillow, hair bringing a cup of tea towards her. She looks over her shoulder, where part of the kotatsu table, along with papers and drawing materials are visible.

The art is bordered with a polaroid-style design. In that space, the text "Within These Blue Skies.... A Granblue Fantasy Fanzine" is visible, along with the account tag (@gbffanzine) and socials (Twitter, Bsky and Tumblr).

“No,” Lucifer murmurs, turning the cup over in his hand. “For millennia…for as long as you have been alive, Sandalphon…you are all I have ever needed.”

The words are too late to stop the cataclysms from happening; they are too late to undo the damage Sandalphon has done to the skies and to himself. They are too late to bolster a young primal beast's flagging confidence; they are too late to prevent him from joining a rebellion, from breaking out of Pandemonium, from letting his own core threaten to bubble over with resentment and longing and,
despite everything, love. Even so, to hear them from the very person he'd wanted to all those lifetimes ago seems to lift a weight from his soul.

“Lucifer,” he says, tears pricking at the corners of his eyes and a lump in his throat. “I’ve waited—for so long, I’ve—”

“I know,” Lucifer responds. “I should have said it much sooner.”

Days and nights didn’t quite exist in Estalucia. At one point, one would feel the grogginess of sleep visit them, and the logical thing to do next is to sleep. Astrals and Speakers didn’t have the same constitution as mortals, but with enough time even they could have their very own sleep cycle.

So when the serenity took over Estalucia and Rel could tell it was their turn to rest, they closed their eyes. And when they opened it, they saw the most unlikely vista they could ever see. It took two slaps and three pinches before they convinced themselves they were somewhere beyond Estalucia’s own mindspaces.

Before them stretched a vivid blue they had only seen in borrowed memories, from the thoughts of those who lived and had the chance to visit this place during summertime. The vast sky and a mysterious sea more breathtaking than even the serene heavens they had called home for so long.

“Yes.”

“For the two of you to sing together?”

“Yeah.”

“That’s right.”

Vira looks at Meg with a frustrated expression. “...You really do not think it could be some kind of sign that she has feelings for you?”

An inch beyond dawn's first light over the port, the sky sits at light grey with white swirls, with promise of blue later in the day; two men in their fourties to fifties wearing white hardhats and black and neon yellow hi-vis jackets stand at attention near the water's edge for the arriving ferry.

Another two, wearing the same uniforms, stand slightly further away, nearer to the mooring line - they are visibly younger than the two men near the water.
The first, You Watanabe, chatters idly away with the young woman, her eyes mostly fixed on the ocean's horizon.

She occasionally takes her eyes off the horizon to show she's listening; whether it's sleepiness or something else, she stifles a yawn, and turns her head back to her coworker to nod in agreement of something. She moves her slightly rippling hair out of her face in response to the heavy ocean winds, and her coworker does the same a few seconds later.

You nods again, smiles gently, and replies, her eyes flitting between the ocean and her coworker once more.
