iv @gbf.bsky.social · 13hi refuse to start over ive done that too many times already. im brute forcing forwards. 100
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Ok As a movie itself it was ok As the closing story for a 15 yesr old franchise, 13 of which was spent waiting for THIS MOVIE, it was mid Thats the most succinct way I can o t it 020
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I think they just don’t know what to do with madoka but it’s too much of a cash cow to leave alone so they gotta keep putting homura in the lesbian metaphysical torture chamber 120
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Eva did it too but I feel like it was better bc the original Eva was so scuffed but I don’t even think 4.0 was that good but knowing Anno wanted to be free of it and basically told everyone to get over Eva makes it better for me lmao 120
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I think when franchises reboot their original series that were otherwise completely fine (madoka, code geass) it doesn’t turn out well bc ppl usually imprint on the first impression and you can’t overturn that easily or at all 120
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I think the problem with madoka is it got way too popular and now they have to retroactive assign meaning to their intended 1 cour anime that came out in 2011 130
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 05/10/2026The best thing I can say about it is that it looked really nice and I can’t even say that 100% of the time bc every scene was up to 11 for some reason but then again it’s shaft that was a guarantee 110
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 05/10/2026The new Madoka movie is bad LMAO (I wasn’t completely fond of rebellion either but it did makehomhra more mentally ill and awful and you know what? Good for her. My duaghter she has every disease) 120
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 05/10/2026walpurgisnacht rising (2026) Can someone tell me what I watched actually I don’t think there was any coherency at all but it looked cool ? If I wanted to watch I’d watch eva LMAO 000

iv @gbf.bsky.social · 03/10/2026ほの暮らしの庭/静谧田园 played in traditional chinese ahead of english release (october 27th) im getting some undertale vibes from this...! kinda jumpscare-y but if you power through its not too bad recommended for 40 USD or less! solid story, cute art, farming pretty fun. money is in automation/refining. 120
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 21/09/2026like i have no delusion that he cannot live out the year but i think its a better ending to have him make the choice that hes not coming back and then dying elsewhere 000
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 21/09/2026accepting that he died in episode 54 is kind of a disservice to his friendship with lin chen like you can burn yourself out for your family and girlfriend but you wont at least try to hang on to OUR 13 year friendship? 100
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 21/09/2026my delusion is that mcs lived in nif and chose not to return to society and died some time later after he fulfilled his obligations with lin chen and feiliu :/ 100
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 20/09/2026shows dont usually hold per-episode tension very well so its like. what a treat. what a delight. wowowow 001
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 20/09/2026like my only complaint about it is that MCS knows everything already and theres like. no mystery he's gonna fix it. but the way it holds tension between "oh the situation is bad" and getting out of it. mwa. mwa. 100
iv @gbf.bsky.social · 20/09/2026i wish i was more fluent in jp like "able to process 75% or more from context without looking at the screen" fluent bc then i could watch so many shows without actually having to watch anything 010
