✨cover design✨ in some form or another because I don’t think my current plan of drawing something on a free app with my fingertip is gunna do it

bsky.app/profile/sjpo... ‘Human Aslan’ got me, honestly

I’m still figuring out what route to take with it, but I’ll post on here when I have any updates ☺️

Some would call it a ‘USP’ 😌

Omg how many spicy novels did you read?!

G Belle @gbelle24.bsky.social · 23/09/2025

#UnhingedPit #A #R #Q Hi Agents Ok, yeah, there’s a lot of spicy romcoms out there BUT All of my beta readers got pregnant whilst reading mine… So, that’s our marketing hook, right? This book will basically sell itself.

Hot human equivalent of Aslan got me 😂

#UnhingedPit #A #R #Q This took as long to make as it did to write the book - a 90k spicy romcom *ahem* When fate keeps pushing a hot man into your life but you don’t want him (ok, you kind of do but not really)

Text thread between Fate and FMC. FMC would like to return the hot man fate has bestowed upon her, but Fate doesn’t accept returns. FMC is quite upset

Ok ok ok I think I’ve finished the first draft of my second book (internal screaming) Obvs I’ll noodle around with it and change it a lot But stage one is ✨done✨ and I can’t quite believe I’ve managed to do this for a second time?! #writingcommunity

Ok, it’s not writing related, but I just had to share because I grew a plant from seed (ah!) and it’s grown so big (ah!) and my gnome is now surrounded by pink flowers and I think it’s the cutest

Oh gahd. Hi. 13 days since my last post. 13 days of having my head down and writing during every free moment. Am now 80% of the way through this first draft #aaaaah #writingcommunity #amwriting & #amquerying (have been avoiding QT like the plague 🙂)

Had some feedback that nearly made me cry. They said I had a distinct & lovely voice, and beautiful prose 😭 Sorry? Me? Also, the MS made them giggle. I fear I’m about to become unbearable 🙂‍↕️ *internal screaming*

At the stage where I don’t even flinch at a QueryTracker email anymore, open them with zero expectation, and carry on with my day when it’s a rejection 😂 is this peace or a trauma response? Idk #amquerying #writingcommunity

G Belle @gbelle24.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

I’m 56000 words in and I just had an idea that changes ✨everything✨ soooo I’m gunna just close my laptop and stare out of the window for a little while whilst I contemplate why I decided to start writing books 🙂

#WIPSnips a fun one for ‘search’ - it’s really hard being the sibling that could do romance blindfolded whilst your brother constantly fumbles the girl 🙄

I close my eyes and silently curse my big brother for not being able to land the girl.
It’s not that hard; he grew up watching the same Disney movies I did. You go after the princess, you search the town with her shoe just to find her, you wake her up with your kiss. You kidnap her dad and then do a prisoner swap so you can keep her instead…
Maybe Disney films aren’t the best example.
Either way, this isn’t rocket science.

I just found out Andrea Gibson passed away and suddenly the world feels a little less bright ‘Just to be clear I don’t want to get out without a broken heart. I intend to leave this life so shattered there’s gonna have to be a thousand separate heavens for all of my flying parts.’ – Andrea Gibson

Dean’s plan* for when your male crush asks you out and you're in the closet as bisexual #UnhingedPit #NA #R #LGBT #Q *(very much making this up as he goes along)

The Gru meme showing a plan with the following steps:

1: Tell him you have a girlfriend, so he stops.
2: Tell your girlfriend about him because you’ve accidentally invited him to meet her.
3: Have a threesome with his housemate and your girlfriend.
4: Swear housemate to secrecy.
5: Date housemate as throuple … until it all blows up in your face.

This was why I wanted to check because trying to narrow it down was hard enough; I had got it to 3 comps and 1 of them was self-published 🙄 of course it was only mentioned to me on my 20th query 🫠😂

Fab, thank you for this; I feel like I’m swimming through endless querying info and some of it is inconsistent and has me questioning my sanity 😅
