I love Splatterhouse! Shame Namco kinda considered it to be an old shame of theirs. Of all the violent games at the time and even now, you never hurt or kill humans in them. That's kinda rare to see these days where a hyper violent game has a strong moral center.

Sweet Home is very well known as being the inspiration for Resident Evil, though I don't think people took the time to sit down and play it. Shame, it's one of the best RPGs on the system that aged well.

I remember the time when there's this MLP episode of Daring Do being revealed to be a real pony who wrote stories based on her adventures and bronies got pissed about it because "it violated their fanfics and head canons". Made me realize that FNaF fans are not so different from them.

It might be better to base the rebrand on the PC-98 because that gives me more colours and a better screen resolution to work with. It's very similar to the FM-Towns and Sharp X68000, but it's a lot better for the game I feel. I want to make it kind of arcade like in its visual style.

Like, the game is made using the limitations of the PC-88. It's a bit harder to work with because the screen is actually half the height, just upscaled. That's why the pixels in these games are twice as tall. Here's an example:

When I get back to rebranding TerrorToma, the first thing I'm focusing on is to update the design on Merith (now called Meredith). She looks like a kid even though she's an adult. I don't want to to be accused by people who can't distinguish between a harmless chibi art style and creepy intentions.

I had thoughts on calling it "Neon Phi" but I guess this is as far as it'll go.

Fun fact: This was called "Punk Phi" and was drawn before the official Punk Phil model was made! You can also see it was going to wear spiky bracelets that the final model was going to have!

I noticed a pattern with my crash outs. During the day, I'm great, but at night, I lose it. I should keep this in mind to tell myself "you're OK, it's just you powering down for the night. You're cold-blooded!".

Took oil yesterday for my fibromyalgia pain because it went on for three whole days, and dreamt about the things in my childhood that I forgot about and woke up feeling like I'm finally at peace with myself. Please oh please, KEEP it that way!
