I’ll give GPD credit here, the detachable battery is a really cool choice. If you can buy a couple and just swap them out it’s a great setup. Less enthusiastic about the proprietary SSDs though. What possible excuse could they have for not just using Micro SD Express?

I'm by no means a Hololive fan but hot damn their new game might be the best way to play Hanafuda on PC/consoles. Has a very similar feel and sense of polish as the Puyo Puyo Tetris games. Very much recommend if you're a fan of Hanafuda!

63 hours later Nightreign has been conquered! And after all that faff I get back to back wins on purple tooth. Stoked to see the other Night Lords powered up as they drop. Only real disappointment is that the new shop currency drops off MASSIVELY after the first victory (25 -> 5).

Generally not much of a "tabletop mode" kind of player, but this is pretty damn great while the power is out (currently having a smart meter installed if you're curious). The triggers do just work out of the box for Mario Sunshine. We'll have a NSO GameCube Controller review up soon too!

Scarlet and Violet are good, but they’re still not perfect. Those rippling textures are FUNKY! Still having a blast though, framerate remains solid lol

This is 256 GB for what it's worth. I'm still on the fence as to whether I need a Micro SD card... At the very least I can say a 256 GB card would be plenty for now. The price of a 1 TB one is definitely not worth it.

I also had no idea you could jump straight into the DLC on a fresh file. Found a shiny Porygon2 straight away!

Yeah Nintendo confirmed they weren't Hall effect as far as I can remember, but there was speculation they were using some funky patented tech instead. If nothing else the sticks do feel spectacular.

Starting to get the hang of it. Felt incredible to beat one of the Night Lords first try with some friends after a week of struggling alone. Also really love that you can just hold onto a record of your runs like this. Super nice!

It's wild just how different the Nightreign experience is when playing multiplayer vs solo. After a week of not being able to get past Night 2 my first multiplayer run almost beat the first big boss. (also sorry to my two companions, i definitely let the team down, you guys were great)

Our follower count recently hit 393, which means time for more Pokedex facts! Obviously number 393 is Piplup, which had this pretty awesome promo art in TCG Pocket. The Pokedex entries do it kinda dirty. It's difficult to bond with, won't listen to its trainer, and often falls down. Poor Piplup.

Super fun first day playing. There's definitely some general repetitiveness to the gameplay, but it's just such a nice game to mellow out to. Can imagine it being a lot of fun with friends too.
