Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Thinking of visiting Australia next year. Aussie friends/People who would know: When would be the best time to visit Australia for a bear event and what city should I go to? 030
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Take all the pictures. Take pics with your friends, your family, yourself. Take a snapshot of everything important and everything silly. You never know when its the last pic you take of someone. 090
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Saw a guy on twitter complain that no one apparently wants him in the local bear community but then I look at his profile and he's already got a partner. Yeah, this is why I don't relate to the current generation. 010
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Yukipoyo is a half-Pinay Japanese pop singer who did a tagalog remix and music video to her latest single and it's a bop. it BEGS to be lip synced by our local drag queens. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBrW...youtube.comYukipoyo / Te-Te Gyaru feat. Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 16/08/2026I know the MCU will do their own take on the X-Men, but one bit of lore that I DO hope they make real is that Emma Frost has a faux British accent but is actually from Boston. Actually HEARING it instead of reading it will hit different. 070
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 15/08/2026Why did they make Sabretooth so HOT in the Wolverine game??? 1110
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Watching TED LASSO 2nd ep of the new season. Imagining Rebecca Welton is an assassin pretending to be a Sports team owner adds another layer of enjoyment to the show. 020
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 07/08/2026After rocking the mohawk for close to 2 years, I felt like a change again. Time to be conventionally pretty for a while ;p 0250
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 07/08/2026I've been an advocate of people having the right to dislike what they want to dislike, but I've recently discovered a subset of people who genuinely hate TED LASSO and while I acknowledge their right to feel that way it's also a sign that we probably would never get along IRL. 130
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Watching the first ep of the new season of Ted Lasso and it felt like getting together with dear friends that I thought I would never see again and I'd be lying if I said I didnt get emotional more than once. 050
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 29/07/2026BRAND NEW DAY IMMEDIATE REACTION (spoiler free): This is the Marvel movie I have been waiting and needing since Avengers Endgame. WATCH THIS AS SOON AS YOU CAN AND AVOID SPOILERS. trust me, you WANT to see this movie not knowing what's coming. 050
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 28/07/2026I low key kind of love it when a masc presenting porn star I follow turns out to speak with a gloriously frilly fagcent. 041
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 16/07/2026If people stopped quote dunking posts from profiles with less than 100 followers, 70% of Threads would vanish overnight. 030
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 30/06/2026My stance used to be in favor of Religious Freedom with the caveat that you don't impose your beliefs on non believers (The Catholic Church fails on this metric). But after today? I'm amending my stance to be FOR Religious Discrimination against the INC and the INC only. 041
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 30/06/202620 years ago, there was no way in hell the Bear Events this weekend -- especially the fundoshi party -- would've happened bc they would have been raided by the cops. That was a thing that happened back then & STILL happens in places like Malaysia now. This is why I still March for Pride. 0100
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 30/06/2026On June 27 there were 2 separate Bear events in Manila happening on the same night. Both were packed. But the number of Bears who came out to represent for the actual Pride March was pretty low compared to previous years. The 1st fact makes the 2nd fact feel even more bitter. 030
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 29/06/2026At what point exactly did 4 Non Blondes' "What's Up" become the go-to song for 90s nostalgia? I mean, it works, I'm just wondering who started it. 020
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Privilege is having the energy to attend the Pride parties but ignoring the Pride March. Must be nice. 050
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 22/06/2026I have made a genuine effort to broaden my taste in guys and for the most part I've been at least partially successful. But when it comes down to it, I know in my heart of hearts the truth: I Love Fat Guys. Sexiest men on the planet. GRRRR. 270
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 18/06/2026My friend pointed out that Yasmine's hair when pulled back by her hairband looks like the Philippine Eagle and now I cant unsee it. The level of detail and design the Japanese Devs put into her is SO freaking good. #Yasmine #SF6 #StreetFighter6 162
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 18/06/2026In this interview, Nakayama describes Yasmine as "taking on the main character position in Year 4" So not only is she the first Pinoy fighter, she is the first Female lead for the franchise (along with Alex, Abel, Rashid and Luke). Pinoy Pride indeed. news.denfaminicogamer.jp/interview/26...news.denfaminicogamer.jp『スト6』開発陣インタビュー。
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 17/06/2026If I take my Corn Ice Cream recipe and spike it with a healthy shot of Bourbon (made with corn) I can call the flavor "Hardpour Corn" Why yes I make wholesome posts 060
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 17/06/2026Finally perfected a Corn Ice Cream recipe that uses real corn and doesn't rely on artificial flavoring and has an INTENSE corn flavor. It's taking all of my restraint to not name it 'Cornography'. 280
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 15/06/2026Looking out my window and its a gray rainy sky and reminder to all that there is a very good chance the Manila Pride March will be exactly like this and it will not be a surprise but still the organizers STILL insist on holing it in June EVERY. FUCKING. YEAR. 020
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 14/06/2026What I wore at today's Chappell Roan One Day Choir. (With pants ofc) its giving surly Bouncer who will either rough you up or make out with you. Maybe both. 2966
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 10/06/2026Was going to watch SCARY MOVIE today but I just realized its also the opening of DISCLOSURE DAY and now I'm wondering if my ass can handle a double feature. 😏 000
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 09/06/2026TIL that "Black Spaghetti" also has sugar in it, further solidifying the theory that Filipinos are the Black people of Asia. 000
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 08/06/2026I love how the Nintendo store is catering to all the communities. 1100
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 08/06/2026Not enough is said about how much of a genius James Gunn is. SUPERGIRL is a movie that was very much in danger of being targeted by the Snyder Bros and the subset of People Who Take It Personally When The Lead Character is Not a White Man. 1/2 110
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 07/06/2026Fun way to troll your friend: If he gets an ice cream cone, softly moan every time he takes a lick. 021
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 04/06/2026"I am not a Filipino for nothing" is a catchphrase that makes ZERO sense & fills me with rage as an English speaker. 020
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 02/06/2026In my personal headcanon, Evil-Lyn has a Filipino cousin named Kupal-Lyn 020
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 01/06/2026It's only June 1 and we're already getting a cloudy rainy sky, so good luck na lang to this year's Metro Manila Pride March I guess. 040
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 31/05/2026I made the same post on Facebook, Twitter, Bluesky and threads and I find it really interesting that it's Threads where I get the most random strangers commenting, and sometimes not in a pleasant way. Threads really do be the place where people go on to talk and fight. 030
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 31/05/2026I make ONE post on threads and its beset by a bunch of strangers I dont know, most are nice but a handful are idiots. Threads aint for me. People with less than 100 followers really be going to random pages to be rude. 020
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 31/05/2026The most annoying thing to me about local Pride Organizers insisting on scheduling the Metro Manila Pride March in June is that every year it gets rained out HARD and every year we give the homophobes a free shot in laughing at us at how its proof that God hates Pride. 010
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 31/05/2026Social Media is such a wild invention: Let me give complete strangers access to talk to me in the rudest way possible with no repercussions. Why the fuck would anyone agree to this? 170
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 26/05/2026My main issue with Threads is people be carrying on about a problematic post by someone and you look at the original poster and he has 6 followers. At some point, people forgot to just not pay attention to ants. 010
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 20/05/2026I'm definitely gonna be stealing Rotta The Hutt's move for the bedroom (you'll know it when you see it) 040
Ian Carandang @gayrockstar.bsky.social · 20/05/2026On behalf of Team Fat, Id like to officially welcome Rotta The Hutt to the roster of Fat Characters In Media who are unapologetically badass and sexy. 020
