Just saw a stranger on the internet post about receiving a Milena McKay ARC. Which means I have another Milena McKay book to look forward to whenever it actually releases. I am ELATED.

Does anyone else experience mild to moderate confusion after reading a seemingly beloved book and feeling rather meh about it or is that just a me thing?

I just need the human written sapphic!Judith (Ride or Die) and sapphic!Rebecca (Ted Lasso) fics to become and remain everflowing. I can only offer my readership and potentially occasional to consistent praise as a thank you but 🥺👉🏼👈🏼

I'm always a little conflicted when reviewing/rating books I've read. 'Cause my brain is like... "Okay but it's written objectively well enough but it was not enjoyable for me personally so how do I fairly convey that in said review given I primarily rate on enjoyment?"

I've seen approximately two (2) posts about annotate this week, which I'm not particularly upset about because it's essentially the same post with a slightly different caption every time I've seen them anyway. However, I am curious as to why they've suddenly lessened. 😶

One thing said: "It's not about them being together romantically." Next thing said: "It's like they're scared that if they are in the same room together that it will be assumed that they're going to be together romantically." Narrator: "... and the delusion continues."

Had a dream that made little to no sense until I realised my subconscious was processing information about Hannah's upcoming appearances alongside some irl events. Though, I woke up before I discovered why she wouldn't break eye contact with me. A random stranger in the dream kept reminding me. 😭

Sally Rooney cannot sell her books in the UK due to the author's support for Palestine? I'm not a Sally Rooney reader (I've read approximately one maybe two of her books) but I'm about to change that.

There is no ethical use of AI. Any self-proclaimed "author" that uses generative AI to write or as a "tool" within their writing is a fraud. Hope this helps.

Decided to check if the cesspool app actually does show you more content from and/or about your muted words or if I'm imagining it. Immediately after muting a few names of influencers and celebrities to test this, my algorithm was full of their posts and others' responses to their posts. 🙄

If you are friends or friendly with someone you know has abused others and you are genuinely of the belief that we are friends. You are loud, daft, wrong and an abuser's temporary source or resource. I keep discovering people like this have decided that we are friends. Girl (gender neutral), no.

Didn't think any reading app would out track Goodreads to the degree that Kobo does. It has made more tracking attempts than Goodreads, which feels significant given who owns Goodreads. Kobo, I've literally used you less than 24 hours and you've already made 6715 tracking attempts via web alone. 🤨
