I made multiple out of state/cross country trips with a paper map. That was normal at the time. Just around town, if I was going somewhere I didn't know, I'd call and ask for directions. But I think I was better at knowing my way around when I didn't have anything except my memory to depend on.

Why does it need to reach the floor? Most multi-gendered restrooms I've seen are individual rooms, not multi stall but even if they were, is people leaning down to look a thing? With the exception of kids (and one really drunk woman joking around in a queer bar once) I've never seen this happen.

We have one on our block in the middle of San Francisco. It howls when the fire trucks go by and yips in the middle of the night just like other dogs but yet, very different. Been known to walk down the sidewalk in the middle of the day.

I am a lover of books. As a young child I cried when we had to return them to the library. As an adult I spent years as a bookseller, and now a writer. House is full of them, wall to wall. I also have old hands that can't hold one anymore so my Kindle is my saving grace, as will audiobooks be soon.
