gavints.bsky.social @gavints.bsky.social · 17/03/2026Not sure going through a years long fight to make a claim is worth it. Then another 6 months of repair etc, etc, etc. Might be time to just cut my losses and move on. Might call WeBuyAnyHome and see what I can get. 100

gavints.bsky.social @gavints.bsky.social · 10/03/2026Had the same problem. Cardiac Dr and rehab kept calling a land line I haven't had for 15 years. I finally go them to delete the number from my record but it took about 5 tries to get it done. 110

gavints.bsky.social @gavints.bsky.social · 01/03/2026Our snow is almost gone, thank god! Hoping that is the end of it. I may be buying a place in AZ this coming week and I really would like to get this place emptied and on the market at the end of this month. 020
gavints.bsky.social @gavints.bsky.social · 26/02/2026I usually try to grow thyme during the winter but skipped it this year since I have so much going on. As soon as I move I will start some again. Nothing tases better then fresh herbs. Do you use a grow light or just put them near a window? 130

gavints.bsky.social @gavints.bsky.social · 23/02/2026I think I'm going to ask my cardiac rehab to drop my resistance a bit today since I walked 5 mile yesterday and shoveled snow today. I don't want to push it too much. 010

gavints.bsky.social @gavints.bsky.social · 23/02/2026It's just bamboo bent over by heavy snow. Once it melts they will spring back up. 010
gavints.bsky.social @gavints.bsky.social · 23/02/2026That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Deeper then the last snow but easier to move if you take your time. Took me about an hour to clear the walkways and drive. Having a snowblower helps but still had to do the walks up to the house with a shovel. 020

gavints.bsky.social @gavints.bsky.social · 22/02/2026I spent a week after the last snow storm looking for rock salt. Once I found some I purchased 3 extra bags. I have them sitting in the back of my car. I plan to put one of them down some time in the morning. Hopefully I won't have to even shovel. Fingers crossed. 030

gavints.bsky.social @gavints.bsky.social · 20/02/2026Well, in NJ you have to get a real ID through the DMV. The first appointment I could get is April 23. So until then I can't put the house up for sale because I can't fly. So hopefully after that I can sell the house and move smoothly. In a nut shell, I have no idea yet. 110
gavints.bsky.social @gavints.bsky.social · 20/02/2026I'm doing great. Still doing rehab at home but I've been enjoying it. It's mostly weird since I am alone and retired so sometimes I spend a little too much time in my own head. I decide to do some remodeling here to get a better price for the house. It's keeping me very busy so that's a good thing. 130
