I want all young composers to know that rejection is the norm. I reckon 85% of my ideas never come to fruition because I can’t engage an orchestra, soloist, festival, commissioner, funding body etc. It’s exhausting, but keep going. Don’t give up! It’s their loss, not yours!

Every day we go to the park Arty and this crow play together. The crow swoops down and chases arty, then arty chases the crow. It’s very cute - I feel a Disney film in the making!
