It's kind of crazy Adam Wingard was the one guy in the Monsterverse's set of directors who brought stuff like this back

This map is highkey ugly during the day cycle but sundown and the night cycle it's genuinely one of the coolest maps in the series. Very good use of bloom for the sunset.

It's almost like tough morally dubious sacrifices and actions are part of the series' core, but nah that can't be it. The video essayist told me it was turned into American military propaganda cause they read about how much micromanaging the US Army did during 2014s production.

A reminder that whenever people bring up the use of the nuke in King of the Monsters to power up Godzilla that it reveals they've never actually watched these movies

These two seconds of Pyra showing up at the end legitimately carry more emotional weight for me than most entire games in the near 10 years since this came out.

Seeing this place up and running after the main game is like when they do those quick flash backs in Titanic from the sunken ship to when it was still up.

Misinterpreted how this whole thing works and decided to redo it but also do something different by giving each row something from my childhood, adolescence, and adulthood that I think best covers those eras and how they've shaped me.

As much as I love the party being a huge found family in the base game Torna having the Blades all lowkey at each others throats is so funny

Monster Hunter when it drops the Gilgafuckrexosaurus Imperetuskunt (localized as Girgarex'Imperks) that destroyed an ancient civilization and suddenly disappeared for 2000 years to remind me this is a co-op focused series where you're supposed to play sociably with other people
