gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 18/09/2026Word on the street is all the vendors were packed in by noon. 010
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 18/09/2026This just in, the flickr pro lounge has as many people in it as one would expect. 000
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 06/09/2026Saying, when you live in south St. Louis city, you're only really alone when you want to be, or you deserve to be. 140
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 30/08/2026We randomly watched this movie on a free streaming service last night (I was ignorant of it, but Laine knew what it was and didn't say anything) and it was so good, I insisted we leave the house and purchase the Blu-ray today. At the mall. 😦🎬 020
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 26/08/2026I feel like St. Louis could turn the Ozark Hellbender benefit concert into a Dolly Parton party with very little effort. What are y'all doing on Friday? www.offbroadwaystl.com/shows/hellbe... 010
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 25/08/2026My mom is five foot nothing and a total bad ass. She's been taking her lawn chair to the Ste. Genevieve county prison every Sunday and she makes signs to bring for all her old high school friends (50 year reunion in October). This one was my fave. 010
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 22/08/2026When you haven't sent a dumb snapchat to your oldest bestie in a little bit too long. 130
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 09/08/2026I live like, four neighborhoods away from The Grove, but someone abandoned a giant Urban Chestnut beer stein in the middle of the sidewalk at Brannon and Bancroft. I picked it up and put it on the fire plug. If you want it, it's yours. 010
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 27/07/2026Finally put my birthday present together (6 months later). I have four raised beds but lettuce does not taste any good grown in St. Louis Summer heat. Suck it, cyclospora. 2120
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 24/07/2026I'm a St. Louis girlie, ten toes down, but I got to see the CLYDESDALES deliver BEER on the main street of my mom's hometown today and it was EVERYTHING. Until today, the only thing Festus, Missouri ever gave me was grief. 1110
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 17/07/2026It's our 23rd anniversary weekend and we're in Springfield, IL, with every other nerd in the Midwest, to see a Big Boy steam locomotive plow through town in the morning. 🚂 First stop, though. COZY DOG. 291
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 02/07/2026New across-the-street neighbors are moving into Mrs. Howard's (RIP) bungalow. Yard signs of existing neighbors: BLACK LIVES MATTER, ABORTION IS HEALTHCARE, and Smokey the Bear standing with a shovel over the words FOXTROT DELTA TANGO (me). 100
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 14/06/2026The least gay thing I will do all month, but the album cover does have a rainbow on it. Dark Side of the Moon at Powell Hall. 🏳️🌈 020
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 13/06/2026Sometimes life is too busy and unpredictable to plan a real camping trip so you have to improvise backyard day camping. Kinda love it. 020
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 13/06/2026Pride month date nights look different for everyone. 🏳️🌈 Would normally miss anything with Jared Leto in it but I love Skeletor SO MUCH I can easily pretend it's not him. He better not mess this up for me. 330
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 12/06/2026Things are better, there's a lot less murder anyway, but St. Louis used to be so much gayer. Sigh. 🏳️🌈 010
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 22/05/2026Friday off. Celebrating #worldgothday by tagging along to Clifton Heights with my wife to go to her goth haircut appointment. 🦇🦇🦇 100
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 17/05/2026Was 49% sure this business was a trap for people who love puns. It's an odd place, but not a trap. Everything pretzel is top notch. Not traditional with the pretzels but recommended if you liked Auntie Anne's at the mall in 1997 (who didn't??) 040
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 12/05/2026In our house, the love language is entirely spontaneous gifts of knives and flashlights. Gave Laine a goth AF Opinel knife last month. This month, she gave me this tiny weird flashlight. 040
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 11/05/2026Just replaced my 40+ year old fridge and transitioned my magnet collection to the new one. The banana slug is from a trip to Hurricane Ridge in Washington State 25 years ago. I think that's the oldest one. Le Petit Prince is from my trip to Lyon in March. 282
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 10/05/2026Smoke 'n Bones on Hampton is having a mother's day deal called "barbecue for three" which feeds like, seven people. 050
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 10/05/2026This experimental short film event tonight has epic short sleeve button down energy. So far: black cats, capybaras, and orcas. 010
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 09/05/2026The Route 66 anniversary edition ice creams at Clementines are probably pretty great. Can only recommend Cherry Slush sorbet. Lemon Poppyseed is my fave vegan flavor of all time. 010
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 09/05/2026Our neighborhood dive bar has really good food and I'm kinda mad about it because otherwise I'd hate it here. The taco pizza tastes just like Fort Taco puffy tacos (RIP) and the hamburger pizza tastes like a perfect big mac. 230
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 08/05/2026Friday off. City backyard raised bed season opener. 🌱 Rode my bike to The Garden Shop on Hampton and got Biver farms seedlings and shop cat pets. 070
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 07/05/2026These so-called mints from Schnucks aren't minty. They taste like the best sweet tarts you ever had in your LIFE. They taste like trailing an ice cream truck on your bike in July. 12/10 030
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 06/05/2026Odds are pretty good that our 1988 GE refrigerator was installed by the Slyman Bros Appliances in our neighborhood so we went in today to the them to come get it and bring us back a fresh one. 100 year old houses have small doorways. They have an excellent selection of 30" refrigerators. 130
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 28/04/2026Another sad bastard band checked off my bucket list. 140
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 28/04/2026Thai Country Kitchen in u-city claims to have been open since 1993, but I swear there was a long stretch where it wasn't available. We got in before they move locations in June. All other STL Thai food is inferior. 160
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 20/04/2026St. Louis gets the mayor mispronouncing the word "welcome" in five different languages, while Atlanta gets a beautiful multimedia art installation. My friend did the sound design for this. @cshriner.bsky.social, your birds are still chirping. 050
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 18/04/2026Another day, another open house across the street. #southcitypride 120
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 17/04/2026Our nonagenarian across the street neighbor died in February and her family just put the house on the market yesterday. Open house is this afternoon. They're asking a bougie amount of money for it. Entirely unrelated, we're eating supper on our front porch. 150
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 15/04/2026(You should go. It's a nice, quiet thing to do this summer). 040
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 05/04/2026That's not a Juggalo, that's a Bozo, and who here didn't assume Juggalos gathered in Missouri every year? If Missouri isn't attracting Juggalos annually, THAT should be the headline. What are we doing to fix this? 150
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 31/03/2026I'm flying back to the US without my flight insurance (my sweet witch bff is asleep in St. Louis). The worst that can happen is I make it back to the states, so DO YOUR WORST, FATE. Nobody wants to come here, obvs. 010
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 08/03/2026Had lunch catered by these gals yesterday and it was incredible. We were all fighting over their business cards until we remembered we have phones that can take pictures. 010
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 04/03/2026Nothing has made me laugh this week except this promo email from the ice cream parlor in our neighborhood. We're going out for scoops of Pooh after work today. Just out here yelling SCOOPS OF POOH at the slightest provocatiion. 2101
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 03/03/2026I think the only recourse is the violent amplification of Jesus as a source of radical acceptance, compassion, joy and solid party vibes. Good Time Jesus, your day has finally arrived.. 110
gatewaygroupie @gatewaygroupie.com · 02/03/2026Today was the opening reception of the final exhibition at the museum of contemporary religious art (MOCRA) at SLU and I got all choked up. The show is a retrospective and it was like visiting old friends. There were also lots of actual old friends in attendance there, too. The end of an era. 010
