How does BACKROOMS director Kane Parsons feel about generative AI? He tells The Australian, "If I could snap my fingers and make generative AI disappear forever, I probably would." "Creatively, I get no enjoyment from using those tools. It defeats the purpose entirely for me."

And then when I have questions its crickets and no responses then on. On top of that due to that lateness. My print was asked if it could be on paper with glass? Guess they started late. So I figured this years piece represents glass anyways so I guess it could work for that exception.

Canadian made, Canadian run I'm loving it. Someone in BC runs it with others. Its still gaining traction so new features will be added as they go. They allow any legal content. Hoping they do a blocking certain words or phrases eventually. I use that alot on Bluesky. www.youtube.com/shorts/ZMOtt...

Been testing the new Canadian social media Gander. Based off the Bluesky kinda style. Its adament about keeping "Canada's Charters of Rights & Freedom" so legal content welcome. No US news, politics, agendas filling the feeds. It feels like, I'm sitting at the local resturant chatting with locals.

Pixiv bots suspended my studio account. The Pixiv email says, that I posted my art with 'paid commerical links' ? Comic Fury is a code yourself & hosts. No donations link, I dont sell my manga, nor ever made money from it. Since AI came out, its as bad as Deviant Art is now too. Aint going back.

I grew up with Cursive and Calligraphy. I still love using the pen and ink. It got me into doing custom fonts + logos by hand. I saw this meme going around social media. My OCD was like why did they leave out the ' i ' s? But then again, everyone has their own cursive style of writing. #genx

I grew up with Ren and Stimpy and kids watched it too. I liked the movie Fixed. There is another one in Netflix called Twilight of the Gods. Its a Norse mythology cartoon series. Its rated mature only so 14A in Canada. And has full on sexual acts plus explicit stuff at times. Gore, violence, etc.

Deviant Art has gone the way of the toilet. Scams, spam, AI accounts, trolls, emotionally triggered unstable people. Twitter is toxic like that too to artists. Its good you stood your ground. Ive had to watermark & place my stamp onto my art. Ive gotten my fair share of people trying to cause drama.

I never worried about it myself. Pre internet days my art never got noticed either. On Meta apps. I might get 1 or 2 views a month. Its based on AI algorithums. Back in the day & what I still do now, is networking. It works online too. Finding communities & in return they support & spread the word.
