I don’t know why I keep making these sunset/sunrises. It’s the third one I make in a row. And I’ve probably made around 40 or 50 in all. I just keep coming back to this pattern. We’ve arrived at the time of the year when I can start working on big canvases again. In the summer, it’s too many people, too little space. But in the off-season, I can use my space as I want, listen to the music I want, put on some podcasts… it’s my favorite time of the year to work in my studio.
