When life gets you down (for example, a cult of assassins want to kill you), nothing beats a visit to the local tavern. What's your favourite fantasy watering hole?

MCM London 2010. My first ever time exhibiting. My first ever self-published comic. Everytime I think I should be more ahead in my comic career, I think back to where I started and think about how that young Chud would be proud of where we have got to. 16 years telling stories and here's to 16 more.

There's something truly special in seeing a comic book page come to life. It's even better when the art and panel composition is better than I could ever have written. Amazing work from @theahmedraafat.bsky.social

I’ve always been a trade paperback evangelist but now finding the joy in single issues! I love visiting the local FP in Glasgow and choosing comics like I’m ordering in a tapas restaurant. The smaller page count and cheaper price point allows you to try all sorts. Todays train read

Back in 2010 I made a magazine about writing. It was for a college class. I was just starting out with self publishing and was star struck when @oeming.bsky.social agreed to be interviewed for the magazine. Creators, when you get a chance, always help out the new starts. It really means a lot!

Death Deserved’s main character is Aranea - a ruthless assassin who spent her teenage years training with the ORDER OF SICARIUS – a cult of killers who claim to carry out justice to the ‘death deserved’. Incredible design work from @theahmedraafat.bsky.social

Day job discourse! Over 60 published works and most days I do media and comms for Scottish Water, 9-5. I recently dropped 2 days per month for comics which has been amazing. I’d love to do comics full time, but for now I’m enjoying the ride and the safety net Scottish Water provides.
