I feel as if I'm in a wierd niche of the #Nardoragon #VRAvatar making Scene. I make Basic 2 or 3 color avatars with no tattoos or markings, but add as much detail as I can within that such as using Furbrush, PBR materials, with maybe A graphic T, flannel, and jeans with colors that match.

Been building a custom 3D forward style renderer for my engine in less then a month with OpenGL 3.3. Screen-space ray-marched reflections, global illumination & AO and full post-process stack, all running with only 3 render targets and no modern hardware required. #Gamedev #Indiedev #EngineDev

Something I've always wondered about #vrchat players is how a lot of them seem to hate alternative platforms they never joined cause they only have a few dozen players online, and VRChat has 210k+. Most people will only have 10 legit friends at best. What if those 10 aren't on VRC?

I'm sick of weak people who surrender to their ego to appear strong. I can't tell which is worse: That It's hard to Imagine a world where people are honest with themselves and eachother, and don't feel the need to project an appearance to avoid ostracization. Or that I'm no less guilty of it...

Something I've been thinking about: I think people should learn the difference between someone giving an Honest, well intentioned but bad take based on thoughts and life experiences, and someone being a hateful, ignorant, and malicious person that actively wants to harm certain groups of people.

Something I've come to realize is that complacency makes You selfish The moment I stop actively trying to keep up with everything. I end Up neglecting Myself, My surroundings, and those I love, falling back on simple distractions I've seen Friends/Family succumb to this too, so I'm not alone there

I've just realized that the "AI taking jobs" thing might be beneficial. Imagine if the jobless majority of CompSci workers embraced AI automation and used that as a "force multiplier" to let them design a product themselves. Your job wants to replace You? Fine, You can become their competitor.
