So thrilled to finally share this! Last year, I had the incredible honor of collaborating with Simon & Schuster Canada to illustrate the cover for Isle of Teeth by Tessa Barbosa. Huge thanks to my editor Yash for being so supportive and providing such guidance! #illustrator #bookcoverillustration

Lately, I’ve been finding so much inspiration just by wandering around. Every walk feels like a fresh start. I love scrolling through my camera roll when I get home and turning those little moments into sketches. Here’s my recent collection. ✨ #kidlit #kidlitillustration #kidlitillustrator

Spotted these sharp, triangular trees every day at my friend’s place in California. They felt like something out of a dark fairytale—equal parts scary and adorable. Here’s a little escape mission inspired by them. 🌲👹 #kidlit #kidlitillustration #kidlitillustrator

✨After a year of on-and-off revising, The Last Leaf is finally ready! I love short literary works, so I tried turning this one into a picture book dummy 🎨📖 Huge thanks to Marina Miranda Fiuza, Bree Reyes, and the editors for their amazing feedback! 💗 #kidlitillustration #kidlit

Even Picasso would stop and stare at this view. 🪾🍂🐻‍❄️ My home sits right by the cliff—every day I feel countless tree trunks around me. You can’t really see them, only sense them, hidden behind rugged ground and tangled branches. #kidlit #kidlitillustrator #kidlitillustration

2025 was my first gap year! It’s only one year, but it feels like a lot changed. My style kept shifting, and this month I started experimenting with new mediums again. Also realized I really love drawing trees 🌳 They make me happy — I want to paint more of them. #kidlit #kidlitillustrator

I just finished illustrating a picture book inspired by frames. Picture frames inside a museum, and window frames from the neighboring buildings outside. They felt strangely connected, so I turned that feeling into a story and filmed a small vlog along the way. #kidlit #kidlitillustrator

Walking along the cliff with my dog, Picasso. Looking down into the canyon, the trees were tangled and messy, like chaotic lines — and somehow incredibly beautiful. I came home and painted what I saw. #kidlit #kidlitillustrator

Christmas is coming🎅! Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas. Our home is Western-style, but everything inside is Chinese, so this illustration turned into a quiet little mix of both cultures. It’s the kind of contrast I love drawing from! ✏️🎄☕️ #kidlit #kidlitillustration

I’ve been making my first picture book. Lately, strange shapes turn into memories when I stare at them long enough. So I wrote about a boy who thinks everything is boring—until he loses his dog and starts seeing stories hidden in the woods. #kidlit #kidlitillustration

My teacher said museums are full of wonders and human stories, but some of the art still puzzles me. While walking around, I found something even more interesting— It’s a wordless zine I’ve been working on recently. Can you guess what the little girl is looking at? 👀 #kidlit #kidlitillustration

Sometimes I wonder if I’ll wake up and everything will be different. But I’d still have to go to school. I open the door—one neighbor mowing the lawn, another watering the flowers, framed by photos of themselves growing older. They look at me as if it was always meant to be this way. #illustration
