Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I wish I'd read that trilogy earlier than I did. It's folded into my Dragonlance (narrative chronological) re-read and I'm looking forward to it. 010
Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Those franchises have always had the potential. Still do. That was never the problem. 000

Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 07/10/2026being meta, it’s the other way around, of course since Dragonlance preceded Spelljammer by years, but in-universe/narrative… this is a rly interesting idea! 010
Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 07/10/2026One-wheel'd to the local game/comic shop to pickup Mutants & Masterminds--been itchy to run superhero stuff for a con. Had the 3rd ed stuff in my hands and then googled and found 4e coming soon I bought the Absolute Swamp Thing vol 1. of Moore's run instead. So what am I going to run? #ttrpg #dc 020

Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Gotta be silver. Ever since I read Legend of Huma. But Bronze is a close second (ever since I read Kaz the Minotaur). 010
Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 21/09/2026I remember seeing the cover to 47 on the circular rack and just gawping at it. I wanted it and I wanted a Devilfish and I wanted Wet Suit... the artist accomplished his mission, for sure. 111
Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Golly, both the example strips hit pretty hard--particularly the second one; I've said the same to myself countless times over the years since I crossed--reluctantly--into adulthood (technically). 000

Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Hail and well met. And, well said! For me, I had that father so I was in the reinforcement camp you mention. I saw my father in Prime. We should all aspire to have Optimus recognized in how we conduct ourselves. 010
Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 16/09/2026In this latest edition of "Spending Money While in Bed and I Should be Sleeping": I bought Dragonlance books last night. Several. Ones I haven't read and want in my physical collection. Being honest, I regret nothing. #books #ttrpg #dragonlance 030
Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Such a great album and the tour has been amazing; I'm catching two more shows next week. 000

Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I like this. And I 💖 that a Shadowrun player commissioned IRL art. 230
Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 16/09/2026You're painting quite the broad brush there. Yes, there are Mormon influences relative to Goldmoon and the Disks--and I'm not thrilled about that--but I wonder if it's a bit far to call Chronicles Mormon propaganda? 000
Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I watched it earlier this year. It's one of the few areas where the show and the comics really intersected. A great miniseries. 000

Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 13/09/2026outstanding. I’m also about to revist the old, dear friends it seems we have in common. Im in the early phases of a massive, chronological (in-universe) re-read. enjoy 111
Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Yet another #Dragonlance cover I would stare at for long minutes before/after reading and just sometimes between chapters. 000
Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 05/09/2026I get it. And even back then I wouldn’t have totally disagreed but I would have said that it was worth leaning into a bit; it also rly works and is fun and creepy and dramatic. 110

Gard @gardgames.bsky.social · 02/09/2026You are missing out on _some_ greatness. But... valid. We can never consume all the great media (books, movies, etc.). As long as you're getting good eats that you dig, I'd say: good for you. 000
