at least the PowerA wired xbox controller I got for like 20 bucks never disappoints me. old reliable.

not aware of a way to disable gyro, but it doesn't seem to be that. it's very specific, one stick makes the other stick move along one axis, and the other moves the first along the opposite axis, like they're linked somehow. must be hardware, I've tried everything I can think of

Wireless would be nice. I plugged the base in, connected without issue, I start playing. I notice moving the camera with the right stick feels wrong, and realize, if I stand still, it causes me to walk left or right, depending on camera turn. Queue the testing/discovery. This thing is like $80 man

I noticed this because I'd been using an old cheap wired controller at my PC; I had been using this Pro 3 for my Switch 2, which means it barely ever gets used, especially right now while I'm stuck living in my home office. Figured hey, I wanna play some more Digimon Story Time Stranger.

Tried the reset method, tried updating the firmware, tried the recalibration mode, none of it changes anything. Shows the inputs in both it's own jank software and the Steam controller calibrator. AFAIK it might have had this issue the entire time I've had it, I've barely used it. Mad.

I've barely used this 8BitDo Pro 3 and it's already broken in an inconceivable way. When I press the left joystick, it makes the right joystick input up or down on the Y axis. Pressing the right joystick makes the left joystick input left or right on the X axis. Recalibrating/Resets do nothing.

Pressing the left joystick is moving the right downward on the Y axis.

Pressing the left joystick a different direction is moving the right joystick up on the Y axis.

Pressing the right joystick to the bottom right moves the left joystick to the right on the X axis.

huge shoutout to the doubles opponent I just fought who had their Incineroar use Parting Shot on my Contrary Milotic, reducing it's ATK and SPATK from 0 to -1 each, and swapping to Intimidate Salamence ...which activated Contrary thrice, sharply boosting it's SPATK to +1, and then +3, and then +5

The only artists I've seen who appear to have not known, were ones from Japan with some translation issues. I can count them on one hand. Every other artist I've seen do something for it, doesn't give a shit about JKR's harms. They care about clicks and clout. Which is why they suck.

I get what they're saying but I just disagree with the base premise. This isn't banking. You're not filling a need. You're actively choosing to create this, which promotes her works, whether you like that fact or not. You're going out of your way to do it. You didn't need to. You chose to.
