Every time I walk into the auto shop, the despair hits me like a fist to the chest. No scratch that, it’s a full on fucking body check. The sign out front that reads Logan and Sons Auto Repair taunts me the second I pull into the lot. It’s not just a name. It’s a prediction. A life sentence.
