I’m not quitting! Just like I didn’t give up when I was homeless, I’ve decided NOT to give up writing. Actually, it was decided for me when I woke at 6:58 am. I was dreaming about my Butterfly Blossoms character, Sally Renee Grace. Dragonfly Passion by Rachel Bleu will be out THIS YEAR. Meet Sally.

I’ve officially turned into my Mom. I now love shopping. I bought the skirt and black and white sweater. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford $100 for that dress. I did look pretty good in it though. lol.

I wanted to share a piece of Butterfly Blossom’s book review from the Online Book Club. I still consider 3 stars out of 5 to be good for my first fiction book. Best of all, she said my editing was “flawless”!

What does women’s equality mean to you today? After being homeless for three weeks, I learned that when you are a single woman, you will most likely experience homelessness at least once in your life. Never say never. @Influential Women #influentialwomen #influentialwomeninsights

Good Morning! So, I asked ChatGPT to give me a business personality based on everything it knew about me, and this is what it created. I’m very happy with it. Do you think it was on point?

I have had high blood pressure for 20 years, but after my 80lb weight loss, I no longer do. The only reason I know is because I’ve almost passed out in the shower on a few mornings. Coworker convinced me to get a bp monitor. Perfect bp is 120/80. At waking, mine was 96/55 WITH my bp medication.

“Why do you write books and who inspired you?” I write because I was told that I couldn’t write and that black people weren’t smart. My momma (Irene Elizabeth Wells) told me I could do anything I put my mind to, so I honor her by showing the world that I can!

I am up six pounds and trying not to freak out. I am doing muscle training, so hopefully that is why. Clothes fit the same.

In researching for my book, LIFT OUR VOICE, I just realized the following abuses from my last relationship: Tracking partner’s location, reading text messages, stalking online, monitoring calls, flooding partner with texts and calls and escalating when responses delayed.
