I made my first sourdough starter yesterday! My wife gave birth to our first kids (twins!) in March. I don't expect my first starter to survive, but it would be *so* sick if they both got a part of this specific starter when they move out in the future.

Since becoming a new father of twins, I've decided to give up weed and alcohol. Instead of tossing my MJ paraphernalia, I 3D printed an occult-looking lockbox to store it in. I've put it in a dark corner of our attic. I'm looking forward to forgetting about it and someone else finding it someday.

Overall, Bo is one of those rare games that feels like it's more than the sum of its parts. It's a breathtaking, beautiful, fun, and challenging package. In a year where Metroidvania fans were eating good, it's not my favorite Metroidvania this year, but it's a very solid #2. Don't miss it. [12/14]

Additionally, I wish the game was a tad longer. Maybe one more area, or maybe expand each area a bit. Either way, I 100%ed the game and wanted more. I'm ravenous for it. The developers have hinted at more in the future, and whether it's DLC or a new game, I will be there day 1. [11/14]

I've been writing quite the ode for Bo. But, I have a few nitpicks: * Icons litter the map. Occasionally, two icons will overlap, making it very hard to tell what they are. * A few bosses take place in huge rooms, making you a speck on the screen. It's hard to keep track of yourself. [10/14]

That said, Bo's movement and combat feel like a step above HK's. Everything is just a bit tighter, a little bit quicker, and that's enough to make the gameplay just *click* with me. I love it. Fair warning that the movement is on the floatier side, so that might not be your cup of tea. [9/14]
