I hope they find a better path in life. Putting one's worth in numbers will ultimately hurt them mentally, and it gets worse the longer they keep that viewpoint.

Though at the same time I was probably scared because I was that kid that would install that cracked copy of steam that had just about every game in the library just to play Sam & Max and all of the Valve games. Which I later paid for because they were goated games.

iirc there was the big drama involving JJ Harrison's Adventure Time design which was later given to Hot Topic, but apparently that was allowed! Which I believe later spawned the official "theft or inspiration?" blog that peeved some people. Though yeah, the art comps and some sus stuff SUCKKKED

I was made aware of opentabletdriver when I swapped to Linux, but my tablet was unfortunately unsupported. At least for me the solution was to uninstall the default wacom driver that came with Linux? Afterwards it worked for linux-based apps as well as SOME wine based ones (like CSP!)

Like in it's prime it had everything! A fun points system, custom CSS that ANYONE could use in every post, tutorials from almost everyone, and a system that doesn't push doomscrolling like it does today. I MISS THAT! Now we got another garbage site chasing trends that'll cost it even more!

DA was THE site for me. For 10 years I never (actively) used twitter, tumblr, facebook, etc. If you wanted to find me, it was on DA. When people tried convincing me not to use the site (eg, the front page), I'd say "don't look, silly!" Then Wix bought it, banned Syrians, added eclipse, yadda yadda

There's a little bit of everything ngl. Bi vs Pan vs Demi, some older gay people hating newer gays, some transfems hating gays, the term "femboys" being both adopted and identified as a slur, the giant mixed bag that's nonbiniaries, etc. Most of it's distaste caused by others misidentifying people.

It'd be funny if there's another Morganite out there in the community. If I had a nickel when friend with a unique name happens to have someone sharing a similar name, I'd probably have 50 cents But yeah, likely a scam. Hell, if you wanted to challenge it wait, 3 months for chargeback expiration.
