Greetings from Belgium #raveyardshift it’s already past 10pm here, so here’s Turquoise by Dave Angel, from his new album A Time & Place. (I would wait until 11pm CEST except there’s every chance I’ll be asleep by then 😆). youtu.be/B6b8Bs6Q-7M?...

I see this is a “thing” from my Facebook feed. Clearly picking 9 albums is tough, so I’ve tried to pick 3 from the 80s, 3 from the 90s & 3 from the 21st century.

Good evening #raveyardshift here’s Fluke with Electric Guitar from their newest (?) album Second Bite. “Reimagining 12 Fluke tracks”, this one is my fave. Six Wheels On My Wagon was the main album of theirs that I got into in the 90s & Electric Guitar was on that. youtu.be/nKE_Jy3jbr0?...

This week I’ve also been listening to this track by A Man Called Adam. One of my earliest purchases (Our Price in Maidstone) when I first got into house music around 1992 & still a favourite. #raveyardshift youtu.be/01RmkM7peLY?...

Hello #raveyardshift, here’s Shalamar and the M+M remix of Night to Remember. I’ve been playing this track recently as I found a minty copy of the 12” online. Worth tracking down if you’re into your disco. youtu.be/m6Rx9UdZ5go?...

I’ve just bought a ticket to hear DJ Harvey at the Ministry of Sound in August. Not sure yet if this is nostalgic madness or a good idea. (I was last at the Ministry in 1996…) Either way I’m hoping for a good step count.

Here’s Ron Trent with Woman of Colour, from his recent album Lift Off. This feels like early 90s Infonet crossed with more recent Mr Fingers. Check out the full album on Bandcamp if you like this track. #raveyardshift youtu.be/pXRsohzaleU?...

Well, that was fun. #kraftwerk at the Royal Albert Hall. Trans Europe Express was impressive. Also The Model. Plus most of the latter songs in the set which were enhanced versions. I’ve never seen them live before.

Pete Townshend has written a lot of great music over the years. Do you know this one? Townshend: “I wrote a song about homosexuality for that album called ‘And I Moved.’ Which I wrote for Bette Midler to sing. She said, “Somebody’s gotta write me a song for a real woman”… youtu.be/CV3XxRZoGUY?...

TBF I do think Pep’s a genius. But being able to add Guehi & Semenyo mid-season does help. Arteta now needs to show that he’s the man to get this team, his team, over the line. 🔴⚪️
