Just finished mastering every Sesame Street game on RetroAchievements, because why the hell not? #retroachievements #retrogaming

I'm coming out of my shell to give this brief statement: If you can't get a hold of Kitasan Black, go for Sakura Bakushin O. She's about as equal ̷(̷A̷ ̷b̷i̷t̷ ̷s̷t̷r̷o̷n̷g̷e̷r̷ ̷a̷c̷t̷u̷a̷l̷l̷y̷)̷ in power as Kitasan Black. Thank you for your time. #umamusume #gacha #gambling

I found this small snippet of DDR in one of my old game design books from college (sometime between 2004 and 2005). I've been addicted to this amusing diversion for over 20 years!

Man, it's been 23 days since I last posted. Here's what I've been up to. Completing every Beatmania game on RetroAchievements (so far). #retro #rhythmgaming #retroachievements #beatmania

After a grueling grind for the final achievement in Oha Suta, I have officially Hardcore Mastered every DDR on the PS1. #retroachievements #retrogaming #rhythmgaming #ddr #dancedancerevolution

So hear me out for a second...Nintendo Switch 2 trailer is out, and it's basically everything we've heard about it on social media. The most interesting bit is the Direct on April 2nd... April 2nd is after April Fools... Could Nintendo be fking with us right now and we saw a false made-up trailer?

You know what's going to happen next, right? The next Fortnite live event is going to be an in-game concert featuring Hatsune Miku and the rest of the Vocaloid gang. I'm calling it right now!

I've been on a DDR push lately. I'll probably eventually finish all the PS1 titles soon (still have 3 more games) and then I've got one Game Boy, one N64, and one GameCube game before the mother load that is the PS2 games... #retroachievements #retrogaming #ddr #dancedancerevolution #rhythmgames

There's a lot of titles not listed here, but that just goes to show you how big the genre is, especially in the mobile department.

As greedy as game companies have become the last few years, I'm shocked they haven't returned to the arcade industry. They can charge customers $1+ per play and make millions off just about anyone, and the accessibility can be as easy as finding a Starbucks! Just saying!

Anybody know how I can record my score on the Konami website for 2025? Got a new "RANKING 4" course record in DDR 3rd Mix! 🤣

If you understand the horrors of original DDR timing, then you can appreciate the insanity of getting a PFC on Trip Machine...

Its been 25 years since Americans freaked out about the "Y2K bug" in which computers with only 2 digits to tell the year would think we went from 1999 to 1900 and cause a lot of crashes. Also the oldest Gen Z are slowly approaching their 30's in a few years...

Tokyo Xtreme Racer mastered! It can certainly be frustrating at times because of the weird af physics and little room for error. But once you figure out all the cheese and mobility, it's not too bad. #retrogaming #sega #dreamcast #retroachievements

I recall PAX East 2013 they had a GuitarFreaks machine and some kid walks by, points to it, and says "Guitar Hero ripoff" GuitarFreaks first released in 1999 Guitar Hero first released in 2005 (Not to mention GuitarFreaks is a lot harder to master than Guitar Hero, but let's not tell him that)

I humbly request that starting in 2025, we end the mention of "that site" and sharing posts and drama forming from that site. Doing that makes bluesky no better than them, and it's already showing...

Let me remind you whose vote counts in all of this. None of these people even know what a vtuber is, which is why Pekora didn't win. There was no shot. I knew if it wasn't Pekora, it was going to be Caseoh, so him winning wasn't a surprise to me at all. Pekora wins the popular vote, always!

Top 30 Playstation games of all time according to Japanese gamers. I can vouch for a lot of these heavy hitters. Arc the Lad is a bit of a surprise for me as I don't think that game was too popular in the US.

Can we go back to calling games "good", "great", "awesome", and not "peak"? Idk, the word has lost all its meaning being so overused to describe every single great video game that's out there.

Maybe it's been answered before and I missed it, but why do people take jobs in the gaming industry and then publicly shame gamers and express their hatred for them? Like...why not work in the movie industry? Or Animate cartoons? Maybe games pay more, but why work for an audience you don't like?

Friends, please like and repost this restoration video! This Saturn controller has 30 years of human gunk and & filth. These units require a meticulous restoration down to every component. No, a Clorox wipe isn't sufficient. Notice how disgusting the water gets in the ultrasonic cleaner? Gross!

So I've got 57 games in my wishlist that are all currently under a dollar (sale or not). I've always had this wild idea to just buy them all in one swoop to lower my wishlist count. But that would mean having 57 more unplayed games. XD

I'll never understand how kids prefer playing games on a small screen/mobile. Sure it's portable and you can take it wherever, but why would you force yourself to squint when reading text?! Wouldn't it be way cooler to wait and play games on an 80" OLED TV??? Don't you want to see those tiny pores?😂
