I won’t stop my voice from being heard, but my flag is planted. If Sony proceeds with this planning into 2028, then I will not support them or their future gaming department plans. Console gaming identity was its library, its ease of use & freedom of convenience, eliminating it destroys consoles.

Another one for those that believe all companies love all-digital. They don't. They are pissed at Sony. From indie all the way to devs for first party AAA. Long-term, nobody wins in all-digital, if it's purely driven by greed in an environment with no customer protection.

New "ad" for the all-digital future just dropped! Xbox services down and once again, many people are barred from downloading, playing or purchasing games. Add to that the small legal inconvenience that they can just rip purchases from your library or ban accounts for no reason.

Feels like PlayStation has switched tactics to calm the social media backlash. The main profile has been posting less, but the regional accounts continue promotions. Maybe to spread the protesters thin. Don't fall for it. Keep voicing your displeasure whenever you can!

PushSquare ran a survey about Sony brand loyalism given the recent news. Mind you, this is a very pro-PlayStation audience over there. 45 % are seriously considering giving Sony the boot. 15 % already left. Argue about the sample size, but this reaction among fans is not nothing.
