Thanos is the exception tbf, but even in-MCU we’ve seen SHIELD and [spoilers] turn out to be corrupted, so it’s hard for me to trust anything to keep superheroes in-check. Also Cap has always been my favorite in the MCU so that’s a factor on choosing sides
