The 1TB storage expansion card for my Framework just up and died for no reason, so that's super cool. (For those keeping track at home, both the laptop and the 1TB drive were both toast within 3 months of their respective warranties expiring. I absolutely cannot recommend anyone buy a Framework.)

Holy shit, after 7.5 months I finally have a tentative job offer. Firm offer with wage coming Monday when HR is in the office. It's back in retail, but (1) it's union, and (2) IT is the torment nexus, only getting worse, and my life will be better for being washed of it.

I love that English's incredibly strict word order makes brand new words sound like established vocabulary if you put them in the right place. ("Cromulent" is probably the best recent example.) I am now adopting "pallific" to describe myself and "liquible" to describe [redacted to avoid FBI].

Don't do this for several reasons (like that's not your photo to do it with) but in this case because running civil rights movement photos in black-and-white when they existed in color was literally a thing done to make it seem disconnected from the here and now to reduce the impact of them

A guy who has inexplicably decided to repost an edit of someone's photo in black-and-white because it makes it feel more like the civil rights movement photos of the 60s.
