It was so much fun! We could only watch the first half bc we wanted to have ample time at the airport before our flight but it was wonderful. I like going to any new (to me) stadium and this honestly felt even cooler being in another country.

No I didn’t book online and actually arrived quite late. I forget their hours but I showed up at like 6:30pm and submitted like a bid for entry and was approved for 7pm. So was my husband. I was really worried I wouldn’t get to go bc I didn’t know about this system but it was fine!

I bought this tiny sofa in Japan with one thing in mind and it’s even more glorious than I thought it’d be.

I am very proud that I was able to get these back without having to open the boxes and only one box got smooshed. Brought them mostly in this bag as my carryon. Btw. This is some of my favorite pokemon art. It sadly has a different print on the other side.

To be clear bc there is some confusion im saying 1. Their away supporters section is much bigger than I’ve seen in MLS AND 2. Separate from that they have areas with food and merch where you can not walk through while wearing the home team’s merch. And they have a stand with away’s merch for sale

We do in MLS too but it’s usually much smaller. Also to be clear this is separate from the supporter’s section. Like they have that too but they also have areas where you can’t wear the home team merch and walk around. Not sure if that’s something you guys do too.

At the Tokyo FC game and they have a whole area for the opposing team. Like one of the food areas where you cannot wear Tokyo FC merch AND they even sell some merch for the opposing team in this area. I’m toxic cause that’s a little too comfortable to me. Opposing merch sales in the home stadium??

Every time I take off it feels like I miss really big things. I took a break a few weeks ago (overkill with the Japan trip on the horizon but I felt really burned out so I needed it) and missed the big walk embargo. I was bummed bc I loved that game but the world keeps spinning.

We did something similar! We brought our carryon, checked bag, and a bag (personal item). We only filled the carryon so we’d have a whole checked bag empty. We tried but to over fill the carryon either but mixed success on that. Def could’ve traveled a little lighter on products specifically.
